I can agree ....your defense our offense....should be epic...at least better than last year's blunder at your place....still a lot of good football to be played though...pray for safe keep of injury for all the kids and coaches...

Oh....yeah...no doubt....you have to mature and get better as the season rolls on...we definitely have too...and yes...all three of my sons have played for Lincolnton...with the youngest now a senior WR... #82 Langdon Givens

Nobody can run on Shelby. Not up the gut, not off tackle, no counters, and no edges. Nobody. No classification. Dline is solid as a rock. Linebackers are freak tough and athletic. Nobody.

Clinton can run the ball on Shelby, I am not saying they will run all over them, and for sure am not saying Clinton could actually beat Shelby. Just like you talk about Shelby being "solid". Clinton's running game is solid and can give you 3 or 4 yards a rush, and I can promise you no matter how far they get down they still will be running the ball.

Pender county had a team maybe 4 years ago that went to a state champion game. All they did was run. They had like 3 or 4 guys with 1000 yards. Not saying Shelby's defense is not great, saw them on TWC a couple of weeks ago, but they are jumping on top of teams forcing other teams to throw. Clinton just like that Pender team runs the football regardless.

They can run on Shelby, but we prolly will not see that gane.

Like you said you don't have to worry about it. Be glad. Single 2A west is the overall toughest of rhe two unless Reidsville goes east.

Speaking of 2AA, Monroe lost their star quarterback to a torn ACL. I hate that! It's going to be very interesting in 2A ball, period, regardless A/AA.

That is a perfect example of how quick a teams future success can change.Injuries are part of it but there are some on this Lion team we could not afford to lose.
