That last game, 17-7, was only close score wise. Shelby left points on the field, and you guys didn’t even have 100 yards of total offense. Reidsville never even scored a touchdown, offensively, in either game.

Wright was a beast! I remember he got a scholarship to Marshall I think and Borders was a beast too.
One of my favorite Shelby players was baby bus.
To be fair(I just noticed that I overlooked), Shelby has taken on tougher out of state competition than the storied Richmond County. I have to give you guys credit for taking on Rock HIll South Pointe, Gaffney, and scrimmaging Byrnes. Richmond seems to duck schools that Mallard Creek, Indy, or a Shelby would take on. It's unpopular but I put an asterisk(sp?) by the Raiders program for this.
I am glad that one mighty 2A team shut them down or they would have won 6 in a row! There is another team that could derail them this year. That team is in Lincoln

Could have been worse. Newton coach requested a running clock before the 2nd half started. I think we only had 2 possessions in the 2nd half.
