NB is very big on offense and small on defense. Their QB is small with good speed and throws short and mid passes fine. NB scored 2 TD on their first 10 plays but really struggled after that. They had one nice drive against a lot of Hoggard subs. NB did not sub much and really worked hard with their starters. Their best offense was when the QB scrambled and created. He threw at least 4 INT. The defense has good speed and play typical NB smash mouth. They played with 1 safety and blitzed a lot which is what they like to do. NB played hard and I think they will be better than last season but they are not at the high level they are use to.
Hoggard offense looked good as expected. WR Colon Haire was the best player on the field and NB couldn't stop him. Hoggard took advantage of the 1 safety a few times and could have all night but they ran their stuff. RB Toney Allen looked great as well. This offense will be dangerous this year and should give the defense plenty of time to rest. The defense is replacing 8 starters and looked new at first but then made adjustment and really shut NB down. This defense has a lot of potential. They are more athletic and have more size especially in the secondary. Frazier looked good and moved well. Hoggard played a lot of subs and should have depth this year. The Vikes will be just fine this season and could make some noise if the defense continues to improve escape week.

According to my sources who were there we played pretty decent. We will be a run first team controll offense.WE have big bruiser Mr Howard who just bowled over one of the VIkings you can catch the video on wcti.com. As far as pc is concerned the same ole story every year aboutTHE BEARS.The only thing that he is specialist on is having witness are as those beating . We use to put on the CRYOVER COUNTY FOUR. The last time we saw his alma mater hoggard WAS the EASTERN CHAMPIONSHIP 2014. we beat them so bad . We

Ask your sources where my comments are inaccurate. NB has had a historic run over the past 7 years other than last season. The Bears are not a high level team again this year and that's just the truth. Everyone in Wilm is aware of the dominance over the past 7 years and we tip our hat. The Bears were fortunate they didn't make the trip south last year. Maybe we will see you guys for real this year.

PC sometimes silence speak volumes. Not a whole lot of noise coming out of the Bern. Either they are going to repeat last year or they are sand bagging. I tend to believe they are on par with last year. They will be back I'm sure so we should all dog pile them right now!
After our last meeting, I think the feeling would be quite the opposite. At least you guys can beat us in scrimmages.
What noise should be coming out before the season starts? Most of us are not aware of what to expect, we rather watch them play meaningful games than make a conclusion as the weeks progress. NB has their HC out right now plus a new OC, looking forward to a good week of practice next week before the big game in Durham.

Hughes is gone. I was hoping to see the Bears in the playoffs last year.
They've beaten Hoggard a few times without Mike. I was hoping the same thing as we enjoy playing in Wilmington.

Here at richmond scrimmage, acrowd of teams here, richmond dominatted jack britt, n. Guilford also got the best of britt but seemed mostly reserves played that one for britt. Richmond wakefield bout to go at it
Richmond County completely dominated Jack Britt 5 td's to O...4 TD PASSES AND ONE RUSHING TD..and a great goalline stand on first and goal from the two....Second scrimmage was against Wakefield . Richmond County 3 td's to O for Wakefield..Two rushing td's and one pass....Third scrimmage was N Guilford....Richmond 2 td's to 0 for n Guilford.....I was encouraged with the intensity of the Raiders all night....We have several backs and recievers that can put it in the wind when needed...With another week to prepare for week one the Raiders look promising for 2016...Only one injury tonight ...Great night at Raiderville .....Zeigler qb looked good most of the night....Wakefied was an impressive looking team with a very good athletic qb, that could run it and throw it...Overall a great day at the Rock......nuff said....
Defense has especially been better b/c Raiders have always scored loads of points.

No wrongdoing was found. Maybe the Hoggard fanboy should have stayed in his lane.
jack britt is not very good this year so i wouldn't base much on that but I hear the raiders are as athletic as ever and I expect them to be in the mix when it all shakes out. keeping wakefield off the board is impressive. i have seen that qb and he is good.
Funny thing about rumors, they rarely contain factual information. No different here. You heard what a buddy wanted you to hear which ain't the facts.

I didn't see the New Bern scrimmage so I would like to comment on what I didn't see. I didn't see ct147 drooling in the stands. I didn't see New Bern complete a pass, get a first down or make a tackle. I didn't see S2V spooning ct147 in the parking lot. I heard about it...........but.........I didn't see it. I didn't see anything at all and I look forward to not seeing New Bern beat Hillside next week in the All American Yawn Bowl!!!
Middle Creek 28 Millbrook 7 at the HSOT Scrimmages. Millbrooks only TD was a pic 6. They couldn't get anything going offensively. The pic 6 was on Middle Creeks backup QB. Dominique Shoffner led Middle Creek on two 80 yard 4 play drives to go up 14 to 0 within the first six minutes of a running clock. Dominique came out and his backup played the remaining 42 minutes. MCs defense is much improved. They are without their leading receiver who broke his foot in the Campbell Camp and the their top 4 year starter at guard who was injured before the scrimmage, to what extent I don't know. Middle Creek looking forward to another undefeated regular season.
