Not sure who the guys on NFHS are, but I think they are the local radio guys. They are doing a really good job and any if you Heritage fellas want to relay the compliment.
That's ridiculous for a championship games. Looks like the East could have had one team that could have completed.
Could it be that Tarboro is just on a far better level than those guys?
Yes they are, but by the looks of the score, half of the western bracket would be also. Tarboro has a excellent program, but surely someone in the entire eastern half of the state could avoid a running clock😁
Nope. Hope you all win it, but you all are really never tested until the championship game. Tarboro is the only really good 1A team in the east every year. No one else is ever close.

Corvian Community went 5-4 in 2022 their first year playing football, no playoff game.
They went 6-6 in 2023, their second year, losing to North Rowan 49-34 in the second round.
Won the west over Mountain Heritage - 19 Corvian Community - 28 in only their 3rd year of football.
Corvian will probably have more to come in 2A in the next few years, Mount Airy will have Shelby to deal with in 3A.

yes could definitely be. But as I mentioned before ether Tarboro is even better this year then in other years which is saying something or the other east team are even weaker this year. I guess the question will get answerd next Saturday.
