Any clue as to where he will go to college? See a lot of crystal ball predictions for South Carolina on 247 sports

whoever gets him is going to be verry lucky hes a special player with explosive skills skills i havent seen in a long long time good luck to you rico

The 247 predictions are usually pretty accurate. The guys who do the crystal balls are very much in the know, and all 7 predictions for South Carolina are within the last two weeks.

Yea he is a very good player, I think his talents would be a perfect mix at UNC because the style of offense they run. I've seen he has visited but I do not see any offers from there. Which I don't see a lot of D-1 offers in general which I do not understand, unless his grades are not up to par.
Off topic of Rico, but I heard in SC, Tavien Feaster the number 1 back committed to Clemson, is on verge of failing his senior year. Now this is just hearsay from a close friend of mine but thought it was enough to share.

If UT offers I think he will go there. If UT doesn't offer then I believe he goes to South Carolina. That is just the feeling I get from the stuff I hear out of ACR.

I think his grades aren't an issue of teams like Wake Forest and Boston College offered him.

That's a good point about the grades, wasn't referring to him not having them just asking. I just think that the western part of NC doesn't get a lot of looks when it comes to colleges recruiting athletes. See he has 7 offers, and visiting USC January 22. I'd think USC would be the team he signs with as he stated after shrine bowl after receiving offer from them that was his dream school.

Scheme wise UNC is a perfect fit. I could see him playing Qb instead of Rb at BC. He would be dynamic and potent there as well. I don't think SC is going to be very good these next few years

He would be great in a wildcat formation for somebody, but hes not exactly a threat to throw the ball to put it nicely.

if he likes being home for the holidays... south carolina is the place for him
If he likes playing in a ladies football conference, then he should consider the ACC then. Legit players who aren't scared of competing against the best in the nation know where to go. He will too.

Yeah maybe if he was going to play in the SEC West but the SEC EAST is garbage. The ACC went 3 and 1 against the SEC East the last week of the season pal.Their one win included Georgia barely beating the last place team in the coastal division. Also, the ACC has the most recent natty. Everyone in the SEC rides Bama coattails. Who in the conference outside of Bama could beat FSU or Clemson? I believe the SEC East Champ got beat 27 to 2 at home against the 2nd place team in the Atlantic. He may like losing to the Citadel who knows... Hopefully he will make the right choice for him.

Glad the ACC had a good year vs. SEC. Slow clap. If you care to go tally the numbers over the last 20 years, you may pipe down though. Also, since you bring up the FSU/UF game- should be noted that 2nd place ACC team let a criminal (their best player) continue to play while UF suspended 3 of their best players and missed that game. So, per the recent integrity issues at UNC and Miami where they somehow avoided death penalties and got slaps on the wrist, looks like FSU is still up to their old ways from the 90s to present letting Shameus Jameis play too. Again- congrats.

Is that you Rob?

Lol at the Florida guy who talks about FSU players. Aaron Hernandez shot a dude as a sophomore. Didn't the Puncey twins get in trouble? Didn't a db beat up his pregnant girlfriend? Didn't another have a gun on campus. I could go on but the university if Florida is home to criminals.

Also why play at usc jr, when Rico could star as a freshman. Muschamp is not hc material. SC fans will find out soon. He didn't even do well as a dc at Auburn

Florida did not suspend Will Grier the NCAA did.

Until UF is in a position where they SHOULD have gotten the death penalty or near equivalent in modern day terms due to their institutionalized cheating....UM and UNC are on another level....And with that said FSU has been the dirtiest ACC school in the last 20 years when it comes to overlooking issues, covering up others, etc.

Well when taking nasal spray or whatever GNC legal product that you or I can buy legally makes you ineligible to play football for an academic institution, but beating women on camera, shooting BBs and breaking glass, stealing, robbing, driving and crashing cars drunk and high (all things that FSU players have gotten away with- with no penalty in the last 3-4 years), etc, etc then it's a screwed up system fraught with inequality and uneven judgements. Pretty unusual world we live in amongst college athletics some places...the bigger the crime, the more assured you will skip scot free. OJ 2.0.

Plus you need to factor in what FSU defense did to the Gayturds offense. Some assualt level punishment was dealt out then. Add it to the list Daboer.

Might as well. They get out of every other criminal offense. Who knew Free Shoes University was the kindler, gentler cheating type. They've graduated from misdemeanors to hardcore felonies lately.
While FSU has dominated the series the last 5-6 years during UFs scramble for coaches after Urban Meyer screwed them by abruptly leaving and feigning illness....they are still up on win % over FSU at 58%.

Nope- but I'm impressed you recognize his name. He was a talent.

Baseball and football. Big motor, high drive. A true grinder.

I have met him a few times over the years. Interesting to speak with.

Maybe UNC should stay home for the holidays in the years coming? Baylor's 2nd string backs offense just destroyed them. Could've scored 90 if they wanted to. Everything depends on WHO you play.

If the ACC is so bad then why don't you move to a state with SEC teams. This is a ACC state. Move to Alabama cause that's all they have.

I'm a Tarheel fan and I think the school has acknowledged wrong doing and has made steps to fix it. I hope you are a Christian and if you are then you can understand that people can make changes and do the right thing despite past mistakes. The fact is that it's the past. Maybe not so distant but past none the less. Carolina is great school that received a black eye for a very few. If you remember the great Alabama program had there share of trouble in the mid 90's. They have moved past it and are back at the top of the game.

UNC is still weak on D especially with the front seven and losing two DL's crushed them with the tempo of the game and the size of Baylor line. Typical of most teams the DBs are inconsistent tacklers.

Logan fumble in the end zone cost a score making it a FG game but Baylor may have got another score.

My opinion, Baylor at full health this year is undefeated Big 12 champion and in the playoff over Oklahoma

ill defend the acc all day long the sec is ovrrated in my opinion i thnk clemson has an outstanding chance to win the national title im picking them to win it to be honest for anyone to call the acc a ladies conference is ridiculous i have a nephew that played at brevard college in a really small conference it wouldnt be wise to tell him that he played in a ladies conference

UNC had a great chance to beat Clemson and you see what the Tigers are doing next Monday night.

So did South Carolina....and you see where they are at.
Oh by the way....FSU, ND, UNC - all overrated and showed it in bowls (blowout losses). Yeah I know ND still playing but they are being handled easily by OSU thus far

SEC overrated OK.Florida lived on luck this year and it caught up with them today.A&M is a mess but the rest of the SEC is curb stomping teams right now.I wish TN would offer but they can't take a lot in this class and have a RB from FL committed.P.S I'm pulling for Clemson though.

Most of those SEC schools along with other out of state college powers recruit the state of North Carolina hard every year. If UNC can ever figure out a way to keep most of the elite talent in state than watch out.

I remember both Keith Marshall and Todd Gurley came out of NC i think in the same year and both went to Georgia. Asheville highs Jeoffrey Pagan chose Alabama over several ACC schools. Chris Leak from Independence went to Florida. Joe Cox from independence went to georgia. Mohamad Masaqoui from independence went to Georgia. Brandon Spikes from crest went to Florida. Jonathan Bullard from Crest went to Florida. Some people debate how good the SEC really is or isn't, but there is no denying they will search all over for the talent.
I know for certain Ashevilles Crezdon Butler wanted to go to Georgia very bad, but they never offered. He ended up going to Clemson and is in the NFL now.
