Richmond loses 28-27

Its so crazy how Raider fans act now. Before it was championship or bust. Now its oh we got to the playoffs and we are ok to lose to Scotland. This is embarrassing. Im a die hard Raider fan. I get upset when we lose and I have a deep pit in my stomach when we lose. I wasnt at the game last night, but raiderlaw, I heard every down. You cant tell me this is not embarassing. The one game where the defense plays EXCEPTIONALLY well, the offense and special teams decides to have 12 turnovers with 8 lost. I dont care if the offense had 300 or 400 yards of offense, they lost 7 turnovers!. So what makes you think that is a good game for the offense? I dont care if they rolled that amount of yards, the fact remains, they lost 7 turnovers. I would classify that as embarassing for the offense. Just my opinion
Another thing, if the JV QB led you down the field with a TD drive WITH NO FUMBLES right before the half, tell me why you would put the starting QB in for the rest of the game? Honestly, do you think that makes sense?
...yes..it makes sense....point?...the offense works...has all year....fumbles?...it is what it is....haven't had that problem up to last nights game....and embarrassed?.....nah.....people need to temper there expectations for 15, 16, 17 year old kids.....winning championships is fun and should be the standard...but being realistic and realizing that it ain't gonna happen every year is a sensible approach.....but opinions are like...well you know!
On the TD drive with no fumbles - one hand off got to the running back on first bounce and two of the pitches were bobbled I was there and saw what happened the Raiders were very lucky on that drive.
In the third quarter the Raiders were taking over the game and the refs got involved three bad calls in a three minute period changed the outcome just my opinion.
can say those Raiders literally left it on the field this season! Hard fought practices and games! I know everybody have better decisions on how the game could of been played differently but at the end of the day we all still have a job to do. No matter what happened yesterday we can thank God you are able to get up today! So parents please be more respectful when you talk to your kids about the game and players that did or didn't because they all are someones child! Seniors get ready to live your ultimate goal n thats to get yourself ready for that college atmosphere. Sophomores and juniors continue to put in work and get better on anything you feel lacking of so you will be ready to go next year! Again it was a wonderful football season and thank God we all still get to continue to enjoy life! God bless you all.....parents, coaches, fans and ect.

No I was not at the game. Just curious about the turnovers. Doesn't seem normal to have that many turnovers from Richmond. Sometimes pitches are defended well and make for difficult timing issues. If teams know there are only a few passes thrown in a game they defend the option a bit better. In that scenario I stated timing issues bring some unexpected miscues.
Here at N-C we ran the option up until this year and one of our conference foes seemed to put a kink in our offense by disrupting the toss.

Was Millbrook doing a good job stripping the ball or putting a helmet on the ball or was it just one of those nights?
I feel for Raider fans. It's awful when you're moving the ball and turnovers kill you. Unfortunately, it was one of those nights. They happen. The Raiders have no need to hang their heads. Don't let others mock you or come down on you. These nights happen. What strikes me is after all those turnovers, Millbrook still only wins by one point. Amazing.

If the said shadow mentioned above would have had the extra terrest trial power, this game would have suddenly been a game. I hope this did not end in the same mode as the Ram/Richmond game where Magic placed a glass wall upon the edge of the goal line, making it impossible for even an alien to trespass such superstitious surprise
