A few bright spots. It was stopped once for lighting then cut short for storms. I think we have alot of work to do for sure.

I wasn’t able to make it... give me a no bs assessment of Mooresville if you can.
I thought they looked good. Qb made good throws RB was quick looked like he was the focus of the offense. Ran the ball well and caught some swing passes out the back field. Defence gave up I think 2 td passes 1 for sure.
Sounds like it wasn’t too bad for a first time out with a new coach new staff and new q.b. Heard we showed a lot of unpredictability with our formations. I absolutely love that. Good luck to the raiders this year! Thanks for having us out

We hired a new coach. Think we have at least a new OC and DC (some also left to go to lake Norman as well)? And we have a new starting QB for this year (unless we’re splitting time with both. But I assumed we were going more with the pocket passing q.b.

RAIDERS lost to EF 7-0 feel like it could have been worst EF had some flags that hurt. So did we. D looked like a wet paper bag and offensive wasn't much better.
Wasn't as bad as I first thought. EF scored on a short field. Raider D held to force a few punts. RAIDERS O line still needs some work but I'm sure it will improve. Real action coming on Friday
No watched on-line. Defense played ok helded out by some EF penalties. Offense did little to nothing.
98 RC will be fine just like SC Playing the schedules that both play weaknesses will be brought out but neither is void of talent. I think in both cases the skill is there but the fronts of both teams better get better soon against the big boys.
There was a lot of standing around as their skilled folks were getting handled. EF has some studs in that backend I know.
Mallard Creek, Butler Wake Forest & Scotland are real every year. You don't have to wait 6 days to find that out. Scrimmages are very meaningful. I would have some concerns, with that O Line, if i'm a Richmond coach. 6 days.

If you for one minute think that Tommy Knotts is gonna bring his Dutch Fork team to his old stomping ground and lay down for Mallard Creek then you are dumber than I thought you was.
Nepsy7 there is no reason that Mallard Creek shouldn’t be IN the state title game every year. Now I don’t know if u a Mallard Creek fan or not but I will say that their coach seems to have the winning formula and the fact that they have the biggest talent pool to pull from in North Carolina.
No one knows but I do think Dutch Fork will come to Charlotte with something to prove. If they do it time will tell. Is this game going to be online I have to go to a Purple Heart Dinner with the wife. Would like to see some snaps as I go to the can multiple times lol
Tommy Knotts is the real deal, he has made statements about this years team being one of his best ever. They were 2-9 when he arrived in 2010. They're now making a run for their 4th Championship. Please stop being dramatic. SC has a very short dead period in comparison to NC schools. Much longer to prepare.MC going up against one of the best coaches ever, returning the majority of his starters from last year Championship Team. What part of my post suggested that Dutch Fork would be laying down? I'm a pompous rectum because i disagreed that 4 teams that are legit every year, will now have to wait 6 days to find out who they are? GOTCHA!

Richmond could very well win again. Charlotte teams success are playing by the same rules when Richmond was winning. Collectively better coaching helps. Stop making up excuses.
In 4a we probably would have a couple more than we do 4aa population matters regardless what folks from the queen city says.
Not making excuses. It’s fact. Charlotte was not a hot area for HS football until Knotts and independence went on their run. MC has a unlimited talent pool to choose from. You can’t say they don’t. Therefore the rural schools who play in the same classification suffer.
So does Hough,Vance, Butler Charlotte Christian, Charlotte Catholic and North Meck. etc, etc etc. Get the right coach and change your program. Eric Morman at North Meck proves my point. You are making up excuses.

As long as the state allows players to play at the school of their choice just because they can put down the address of their grannies or their second cousin twice removed you gonna have these super teams like Mallard Creek. Nobody is investigating and y’all know it.
You come to Mallard Creek and see how it works putting down Granny's address. Watch Philip Davanzo the Athletic Director escort your butt off the field. CMS hangs out at Mallard Creek like the NCAA. Not happening. When you make up silly excuses like yourself with no proof or data to back up what you're saying. Nepsy7 Did you mean stay focused? You must learn to articulate! I’m sorry for those previous posts. Everything I posted was wrong. Every program in the greater Charlotte area is squeaky clean. Mallard Creek does not have a unlimited pool of players to choose from. The coaches there are geniuses. Richmond coaches are not. Should have known better to argue with the leading guru of high school football.
