Rams defeated High Point Andrews 95-75 tonight (12-11-24) to improve to 2-0 on the young season. Harrison missed the game with a knee issue.

Rams have now won 31 straight and have only lost 1 game the last two seasons plus the first two game of this season.......Looming big matchup in the John Wall tournament day after Christmas with Farmville Central....Rams lost to FC in state title game two years ago and Reidsville beat FC twice last season....once in the John Wall tourney and then again in state 2A title game.................prime matchup but I was hoping Reidsville would be matched up with some of the out of state teams in that tourney....................
Farmville lost to West ______ the other night so a little of the luster from the upcoming matchup will be gone.

They still could face St Anne's out of Charlottesville. Then its a few private school teams in our bracket as well. But I wish we weren't playing farmville as well, as also its a team we could see later.
I checked it again ... it was West Bladen, now 7-0 after a 66-62 win over Farmville Central Tuesday ... the Bladenboro school features 6-8 senior Chase Williams, who will play at Citadel. West Bladen, not to be confused with West Craven, plays Farmville again on 12-19.
Reidsville made it 3-0 with a 78-28 victory over North Forsyth, now 2-3, on Friday, Dec. 13.
I've heard there is a running clock in basketball now?? For real??? if true at what point does that it happen and if so can a team behind make a run enough to stop the running clock?? Man this world is getting soft............................at least Americans are.............................
I think they open with Farmville on Dec 26.
why would they call out the Rams...they are 3A and have rarely if ever played Reidsville in basketball and not much even in football....Call out all you want to...Reidsville not afraid of them..........................
Farmville did lose to undefeated West Bladen, then turned around and put a running clock on the 2 time defending 1A champs Wilson Prep. I don't think any luster for the FC/Reidsville is gone. They will still be two of the final 4 teams come playoff time.

I was looking at the coaching staff for Farmville Central and it has Jah Short listed as on the staff. Is he not playing in college?

This is true. Farmville will still be very tough test. But, imo rams should win. If the rams do win, 2nd and 3rd match ups will be very tough
Because the rams are nationally ranked and thought of as at least a top 5 team in nc. I think we should match up. Besides the John Wall, I don't love the rams schedule and I know most won't like me saying that. But there are some solid match ups to look forward to like Coravian prep and I like playing out of state with Gretna. Orange also could be a solid 3a team.
When they beat Rockingham they posted pictures of the “Welcome to Reidsville “ sign.
Wed. Dec. 18th...Reidsville defeats Martinsville High school out of Virginia.....63-42 to move to 4-0.............................
I watched on computer screen. Rams didn't have Cam Jones (preparing for East-West football game) and they looked kinda sloppy on offensive end with a bunch of missed free throws and layups (including dunk clanks) ... but they still won by 20-something.
Rams also will not have Jones on Friday vs. Rockingham County....last years state title team will get their rings before the contest..............
Reidsville beat Rockingham County tonight 88-61 ... 31 points each for Neal and Sharpe. Johnson had 33 for Rockingham.
I listned on the radio, Rockingham will make the playoffs. Rams have some big games next week. We are going to have to be disciplined and not have any technicals.
Reidsville plays too helter skelter at times...especially on D.....those powerhouse teams next week will be licking their chops if the Rams don't tighten up some....nothing wrong with pushing the pace...but you gotta have a little control....no doubt about their talent level tho............

yeah Jones is the unsung player on this team works hard..thought for sure he would miss the game since he's playing football Sunday in East/West game................as for the big guy...not sure...sat out more than he played gotta keep his cool......................
