Reidsville - Andrews updates

I honestly dont think HP Andrew was that good.(Athletic but not good) Thats just my opinion. Time will tell.

Looks like several Rams starters may have lost their jobs after the Andrews debacle.

Coach Teague quoted in the Greensboro paper saying lots of changes coming beginning this morning.

Curious what's your opinion on reidsville then ?
Were not that good either right now as a team. Andrews is not 40 some points better than us. When we where in the red zone twice and didn't score I believe that sucked the life out of us. It was mentality devastating to the team which in turn caused a snow ball effect. This reidsville team has good hard nose football players but very few athletic players.

I guess we have too just except the fact that we are an average team this year. It's something that we're not use to having. It happens to everybody. It just this time the average bug has hit reidsville.

We're average cause it is excepted by this coaching staff and there is no year round commitment to training. We don't develop athletes to their fullest potential.

It's interesting to peruse all the sky-is-falling posts from the Reidsville faithful. Of all the theories flying about the game no one has mentioned this: maybe Andrews is being vastly underrated by us all. Andrews isn't a flashy, high scoring team like Shelby. We can throw the ball effectively but if you haven't proven you can stop the run why pass it? The offense will methodically beat you down. Like I said earlier, this team is like a hard nosed, body punching fighter that will keep punching you in the ribs until you can't breathe. Not pretty but tough and very efficient when we don't kill ourselves with penalties. Personally, I like it when we are underrated. We seem to play better with something to prove. Time will tell, for sure. Best of luck to the Rams!

Toots ... my posts have focused on Andrews maybe being a really good team facing a Reidsville team putting the pieces back together after crucial injuries the previous week.

The Andrews team I watched last Friday had strong line play and an endless supply of quick, determined runners to go along with a passing game that can keep defenses honest.
