I think we need to tweak the running game a little. Long is clearly the main guy, but I would like to see if 23 or number 21 can get in the rotation at running back. Our passing game reminds me of the 2002, 2003 rams.

Long is a good straight ahead back. Definitely not a true tailback. Long and Davis has the same running style long is just faster. Reidsville needs another style back to change it up. If they can’t find another change up back This Reidsville team is going to be the exact replica of the 2002-2003 team and they were dangerous on offense. All passing with a nonexistent running game. Crews the QB lead the team in rushing that year.
I agree, Antoine terry was the tail back and he was dangerous in the 2002 rams and he may have played in 2003.
I think 21 the transfer should get some looks. Def need to explore different options. Don't get me wrong #8 and #20 are not bad backs, but we need a change of pace back.
Justin Bridges was the starting runningback in 2002. I believe Antione Terry started in 2003 and 2004. #8 and #20 are both fullbacks. Short yardage backs
A school record for TD passes in a game -- three players previously threw 5:
Kendon Doe did it twice in 2003 ... vs. Western Alamance and vs. Central Davidson.
Others were:
Josh Duncan in 1998 vs. S. Columbus
Titus Jones in 2017 vs. Carrboro
Note: Titus is now a QB at Ferrum.
I've never seen so many Shelby fans that are just pure trolls....and worry about a school that's nowhere near them and know nothing of teams in this area...why not just give credit to Shelby and Reidsville for having great programs and a long history to boot...... especially from a novice poster with 88 posts...………...
Reidsville will play anybody, anywhere, anytime. They've always had this policy. Did you notice the Who Wants To Play Reidsville line is a tad stumpy ?

The Floyd Mayweather of high school football, great and legendary, but hardly takes risk, hand picks opponents that are well past their glory years, no longer a shell of what they once were as programs, all for the sake of having home field advantage throughout the playoffs, and continuing streaks that any above average 2A teams would have playing that schedule.
Scheduling 1A opponents, GTFOH. You see any 1A opponents on our schedule? And since you still bring up the past, ACR losing to Mt Tabor, let me jog your memory a bit. Do you remember Kings Mountain, Cleveland County’s own, the year before that, beating Rockingham County 53-7, far worst than what y’all did, and guess who beat KM that year. I think we will see y’all this year, though, hopefully in Shelby. Highly unlikely, though, since we all know that you will be cup caking until rd 3 or 4 of the playoffs.

The 20 championships mean nothing to me. We have our share of those. I’m only bothered by the easiness y’all have year and year out. When you can say, “Now that Shelby is gone, we should win or advance to the state every year”, you definitely have it made. And to a man, if you’re honest with yourselves, some of y’all have said that.Those 20 Championships seem to keep a few posters panties in a wad.
I guess some consider them cupcake championships. They aren't real. Lol !
Counseling could possibly help, but I doubt it.
With the exception of Reidsville, all the other western heavyweights are in 2AA. When mountain teams are your third and fourth round opponents, hell yes, you have it made.

Lets look at teams Rams and Lions have both played recently... How bad did Shelby beat East Rutherford last year?
Not as bad as Reidsville whooped them.
We know ACR lost to a weak team from the triad in the playoffs last year, but how did ACR do against East Forsyth this year?

But yall enjoy playing South Point, KM, and Crest and thinking those mountain teams are super powers. Maybe schedule a real mountain team like Mt Heritage and see how well yall do. Oh wait, yall had a chance but declined.

And trust me, we both know that you were definitely interested in the results of that ACR vs Shelby game, considering ACR just lost to the defending 4A champs by 12, and those results had you humbled, lurking in our thread quietly.
Speaking of ACR, they just beat Owen, 35-3. I guarantee Owen will be one of your playoff opponents. Smh. I don’t think we’ve had cupcakes the last few years in the playoffs. Starting in the second round even since 2015. We had east Rutherford last year who many thought would beat us.
And I believe Floyd fought everyone he could have just waited too late for the pacquiao fight. Separate topic though

I agree with the Floyd Mayweather comment, I used that analogy, because he was still criticized for that. He beat them all, though, including Canelo Alverez. Mountain teams as your 3 or 4th round opponent is weak though, in my opinion. You’re not seeing equal athleticism, the athleticism you’d see in Shelby, Hibriten, South Point, SP has issues this year, though. Monroe and Huss in recent years.
At the end of the day, your attendance numbers has you guys in a unique situation, and no, you can’t help that. Y’all are definitely in the cat bird’s seat in 2A West. 2A East has parity. They just gotta hope they are not too beat up from playing each other, once they meet Reidsville.
i seriously remember a Ram poster, in recent years, posting about a player winning a damn kick, throwing competition, though. That’s worst than claiming scrimmages and 7 on 7s.

Mountain Heritage is better than you think. This years bunch may not be as good. But I agree, it would be nice to add another team in the 2a west. Maybe you guys can go 2a west, or someone out east shifts west.
Reidsville wants everybody to recognize them as the best football program ever. To get that recognition you guys need to schedule some worthy opponents. Come on down here and play some South Carolina teams. Play teams like Dillon, Chapman. I believe you would get your ass handed to you. Keep on play cupcake teams.

I respect Reidsville but VA football doesnt even measure up to NC much less SC football.
Shelby fans don't have to convince us that the Ram's 20 championships mean nothing to them , but some might need to convince themselves. It would if they were the ones with 20 ! I can guarantee that ! It is the only thing keeping Shelby from claiming complete dominance !! Some of the posts I've read lately ( not all ) definitely say otherwise. Thus, the anomosity ! It's ok though ! I respect Shelby football and I know many Rams fans do too ! I have never made negative comments, nor have I personally ever tried to make light of Shelby's accomplishments as many Shelby posters have done to us, and never will . Not my style. All shelby fans say rams are scared to schedule. When in fact every year I never see an invite from Shelby For rams to go to their house for an endowment game or any other kind of game. And the better 3a and 4 a schools continously decline reidsville as an opponent. So what do they do? They go to playoffs and win alot of game deep in playoff runs. 2010-2015 rams was by far the worst of the seasons last 20 years. But they even tried to schedule hard games.
