Randleman's offense vs PG's defense........

PG is giving up less than 10pts per game in conference {besides Andrews}

Randleman scores points...plenty of points.

Thoughts ?

and by the way.....This game will decide who gets the #2 seed...

I honestly think Randleman will win this one going away .For the past 4 weeks they have tuned it up a notch or two and are playing very well on both sides of the ball. 3 straight home shut outs and putting up 28 on ER and shutting them out the second half.....If they had everyone healthy on the o line I would say it could get ugly.....I am going with 32-10 Tigers......Now I know you are going to say they can't score 32 against PG......Wheatmore beat
PG and the Tigers beat wheatmore 48-0 or so......Yes , they can score 32
........I may be wrong , but I may be right.....

Yea maddox#1 but Andrews beat Randleman 34-7 and PG 38-0. Also PG gave up 16 points to ER and Randleman allowed ER 14. Could be a closer game than you think. PG struggles offensively or has in most games this year but Danny Martin usually has them ready on the defensive side. Wonder what ALLREAL thinks will happen with Randleman's QB this week? I think you are a little high on score I believe Randleman wins ugly 21-14?

What is ALLREAL and what do mean about the QB????

I honestly don't give much credo to we beat so and so by this and you beat them by that so we will beat you......We both know it does not work that way. It may sound good , but it means nothing....Just hope it's an injury free game and may the best team win............and I do think the Tigers win by 20.

Well I tell you what I think. I am a PG fan. I really do not think Randleman scores 32. PG Defense is really really good. I will give details of my opinion. Andrews 38-0. OK 15-0 at half. Defense got tired they played 80% of the game. Asheboro 12-0 I know it was raining but still locked them down. Wheatmore game 14-7 I know for a fact #11 returned the interception for TD. I seen video the ball never hit the ground. What will help PG is they played JM and their QB is the best I seen so far this year. He was a little more athletic that Randleman QB. So Defense will stand up against Randleman.

Now on to Randleman QB. Best in the PAC 6 in my opinion. He rolls and picks you apart. If you lay back he will take off and get 10 yards easy. So defense has to respect that. If he throws for over 200 then PG goes down.

If PG can generate TD's with its stagnant offense it will be a game. The problem with the offense is predictability. They got the weapons just do not know how to load the gun and pull the trigger. Opposing teams defense knows what is going to happen. I will not bash them on here. Just needs to get a little more creative. Kinda late in my opinion.

ER. For around 38 years or so. Not really a jab at ALLREAL just asking his opinion on what would happen in this game after he/she predicted what was going to happen in ER/Randleman game. I know many of the boys on both PG and ER. Always want them to do well. Also know a few on Randleman. Pull for them when they are not playing boys from around here.

ALLREAL your take on the game seems to be spot on in my opinion. PG should get better in future as those boys from NERMS that dominated middle school last couple of years get experience.

maddox#1 Only reason I brought up games against common opponents was because of your post that included the Wheatmore scores. I have read some of your posts and they usually approach the games with a mostly level head, except for the obvious bias you have for that ugly orange and blue.

As for Friday, I too hope for a good game up there. I probably will be sitting in the lovely yet cold confines of the Wheatmore football field. If ER somehow wins and Randleman does what they are supposed to then things could get interesting Saturday morning.

I am hoping for a PG turn around just like we did at ER. So we can be in the talk come Saturday morning.

The way I see it PG needs ER to beat Wheatmore no matter what happens in their Randleman game. If both PG/Wheatmore lose there would be a 3 way tie for 3rd which would cause a draw for positioning? If Wheatmore wins then they win tie breaker against PG even if PG beats Randleman giving them 3rd place. So some people that don't usually pull for ER might be hoping they win Friday?

I like Randleman 28-10 in this one. I think PG has improved in recent years, however, I think Randleman is getting better at the right time.

So Kidd what happens if Wheatmore and PG loses. Are they both out and ER in?
If both lose that would create a 3 way tie for 3rd with each team having a 2-3 record in the PAC6 which if I am not mistaken would lead to an old fashioned drawing of straws on Saturday. The winner would probably get a wild card into the playoffs which would mean a wonderful 3 hour road trip for someone come next Friday. For the other two teams I believe basketballs would start bouncing.

I try to as honest as I can be. No doubt PG has a good defense , they have proven that , and you may be right about the Tigers scoring 28 or 30 , we shall see.......but hold on about those Orange and Blue with white Trim uniforms......They are IMO some of the best in the state......The Blue Pant with white top with orange and blue trim are beautiful......Run a poll.....who has the prettiest uniform around???????

Best in the state? Sorry man told you that there was a bias on your part. The colors are the exact same as my daughter's first travel fast pitch softball team's. Cute on a 10 year old girl but as a high school uni? Now forest green that goes with almost anything.

Or you may say you mean like those Clemson Tigers or maybe Denver Broncos or my 10 yr. old Grandson's travel team....and whats wrong with your daughters fast pitch travel teams uni's..

As for the Forrest Green , isn't that smokey the Bear's uniform color?

you can't read the numbers from the stands. That dark Gold and forrest green with Black pants....Beautiful...Like I said lets take a local poll....who has they best looking uniforms in the Pac 6 Conference.....or the county or the state..........who has the best uni's, is it Smokey the Bear or your daughter's fast pitch softball team....

Going with her fast pitch team. She is 26 now and those days are long gone. And the numbers are hard to read from the stands. My son dresses with varsity and if it wasn't for me knowing how he walks it would be hard to find him sometimes. JV unis are older and easier for old eyes to see numbers.

Oh and never liked Clemson. Denver I can take them or leave them.

I do kinda like the light blue/white Trinity wears. Reminds me of a university a little closer to my heart.

I like most of the county teams colors when they wear their mostly white tops with other colors as trim.

Oh now I see something we both can agree on...Go Carolina.....................

Long time ago they had very LOW standards.....

And we both appear to like baseball from some of your previous posts. Now when spring comes we may talk a little more.

Ok, I vote orange and blue.....I wore it and now my son wears it......

oh yeah..........Tigers by........30

I vote orange and blue....I also wore it and my son wears it now... Tigers 27-7 and who knows maybe RHS wins by more.

Ok Ok. I am going to rate uni top to bottom in the PAC 6. Trinity, PG, Randleman, Wheatmore, Andrews, and ER. I watched video of the Randleman Er game last week. Er had the game in their grasped and had a bunch of turnovers. If ER limits a couple turnovers then they win that game. PG defense is really good. If they contain Welch and keep it close PG pulls out win 14-13.

I don't see how ER had the game in their grasp. They had 2 big plays for tds when it was 3rd and a "short cab ride". Take away those 2 big plays then it could have easily been another shutout for Tigers.

Ok I will detail it for you since you must not have been at the game this past Friday night.
Opening Possession Interception ER had ball on Randleman 9 yard line.
Next ER possession fumbled snap on 4th and 1 on Randleman 20.
Next ER possession Score
Next ER Possession Score
Next ER Possession ER punt
Next ER Possession ER punt
Next ER possession Interception ball on Randleman 16
Next ER possession ball on Randleman 34 receiver dropped pass that hit him in the hands at Randleman 13.
Last ER Possession ball on ER 40 tipped pass for interception.

So after all that I guess ER did not shoot themselves in the foot. Not taking nothing away from the Tiger's. I just state the obvious.

Oh I was at the game. And I saw Randleman DOMINATE the line of scrimmage in the 2nd half and run the ball down ERS throat and eat up the time of possession. Tigers didn't throw many passes in the 2nd half. Good luck to ER friday. Hope the conference gets as many teams as possible in the playoffs.

That was not the question. I never said anything about the Tigers offense. I always have respect. It was a question of ER hurting them selves. As I proved my point.

turnovers are part of the game. everybody would be undefeated if you say well if they didn't do this or they didn't do that then they would have won....pointless exercise

Man you got ER unis last??? Even behind Andrews conglomeration of colors??

As far as game went again you were right on. Despite what was argued ER moved ball into Randleman's kitchen all night unfortunately they turned it over almost every time as you stated. Don't know why people get upset when you tell them factual information?

As I said I think the blue and orange outlandish uniforms will win tomorrow night but I do believe PG keeps it closer than many are predicting.

Last? Really?

I vote for Andrews' classic home uniforms: red jerseys, white numbers/letters with blue trim and the white pants. Why the hate about our unis? Our sports team colors are red, white, and blue. Black has always been the traditional neutral color for the band uniforms, with white overlays and red trim.

ER had the ball a total of 4 minutes in the second half and the Tigers had it 20 minutes......RHS Had two drives that took 8 Min. off the clock each drive....I'm not sure you can say ER was in the kitchen all night......They were shut down every time in the second half , either on downs or turn over. My point is the were dominated in the second half......Tell everyone how many first downs you had in the half you were shut out or rushing yards or passing yds...

First wanna say I do like Andrews all red uniforms.

Secondly or B, Maddox#1 I was using ALLREAL's detailing of ER's drives as a reference. The drives ended as follows ER on Randleman 9, Randleman 20, score, score, punt, punt,Randleman 16, Randleman 34 with dropped pass at 13, ER turns over at their own 40.

That's 9 possessions with 6 ending in either a score or turnover inside Randleman's 34. If that ain't the kitchen it is knocking on the back door.

2nd half like I said earlier Randleman wore ER out running straight at them.

And thirdly? It may be a wet night. Raining pretty good here now. Hope everyone has a safe and good game tonight.

Oh and found out something at JV game last night. Not sure if it is correct maybe someone else knows? I was told if ER can beat Wheatmore then they would get in playoffs with wild card because that would give them 5 wins no matter how things came out in draw. Does anyone else know anything about this?

Hahaha PG takes down Randleman. Defense stepped up and Randleman offense stepped out. Looks like PG is going to playoffs.

At least I was close on the score?

for someone that watches every play that the tigers run (maddox) every year they sure don't know much about football,,,,, wow 22 to 7 now the 4th seed lol !!!!!!!!

PAC 6 play finished with a 3 way tie for 2nd place. PG drew the #2 seed, Wheatmore drew #3 and Randleman drew the 4.

Hats off to PG for a grest win. Defense was stellar. Coach Brown had them in position all night and flying around. I would be surprised if Randleman had 100 yards of offense.

Congrats to Randleman on a good game.
