maxpreps has Reidsville #1 in 2A but, seems like not as much respect from ncpreps mmmmm well thats not unusual i guess no one respects Reidsville

You sound like Franklostpassword. I don’t know why some of you Reidsville posters are surprised. You weren’t going to get the no. 1 spot in every so called poll. Shelby was definitely going to be in that position in some polls. It was going either way in these preseason polls.
August polls are usually based on last years team and the programs history.The December polls are the ones that matter.
Last year’s teams and records, in my opinion.
Right about it mattering in December. Heck, we weren’t even in the polls much of the season, particularly the first half of the season.
And apparently, strength of schedule was factored in, too. Wanted to leave that out, but didn’t want to sound like I was contradicting myself mentioning last season’s records.

Its fine. Heck we are number one on the other site. Shelby and Reidsville are the clear 1 and 2 teams preseason.
