First time these schools have met in football. Rams need to score 10 or more points to extend state-best streak to 130 and they need to avoid shutout to extend that state-best streak to 390.

Major question mark for Reidsville: Who will step up at running back with Jariel Cobb out for the year? He finished the season with 1524 yards and 23 TDs while averaging 10.7 yards per carry. Next in yardage on the running backs list is freshman Josiah Samalou with 74 yards on 14 carries but I heard he was also injured.

Reidsville bye as many as they want … they will get a little fight out of the Hilltoppers but not enough to make a difference tho

Here's the scoring summary:

R-S Central 8 8 6 0 -- 22
Reidsville 15 30 14 0 -- 59

R - Savvion Johnson 2 run (Grady Barrett kick), 7:44 first quarter
R - Dionte Neal 10 run (Neal run), 1:27 first quarter
RSC - Karlen Mcentyre 5 run (Keyan’te Lattimore run), 0:20 first quarter
R - Kasean Henry 18 run (Barrett kick), 10:51 second quarter
R - Johnniyus Sharpe 28 pass from Neal (Kendre Harrison pass from Neal), 6:38 second quarter
RSC - Mcentyre 3 run (Makell Jennings pass from Mcentyre), 3:23 second quarter
R - Neal 88 kickoff return (Barrett kick), 3:10 second quarter
R - Harrison 56 pass from Neal (Neal run), 1:24 second quarter
R - Henry 1 run (Barrett kick), 8:02 third quarter
RSC - Jakis Smith 67 run (kick failed), 7:46 third quarter
R - Juhkari Pinnix 62 pass from Neal (Barrett kick), 5:59 third quarter

And some stats:
Neal, sensational again, completed 18 of 23 passes for 381 yards and 3 TDs ... the only interception was on a deflected pass. Add the 88-yard kickoff return, a 10-yard TD run, two 2-point conversion runs and a 2-point conversion pass to his night's work (subs took over in the fourth quarter).
Harrison had 7 catches for 139 yards, Jones 6 for 118 and Sharpe 4 for 62
Freshman RB Henry looked good as the go-to back in the absence of Jariel Cobb. He ended with 116 yards rushing and 2 TDs.

Despite the huge win, the eagle-eyed officials slowed the pace all night with holding calls and more holding calls. Reidsville accessed 162 yards on 14 penalties. Seems the officials huddled as much as the teams.

Freshman Henry isn’t Cobb yet but running behind that big offensive line he showed a lot of promise. He’s pretty good on defense as well. Sophomore Devonte Campbell had some punishing runs late in the game too. Several others had some good moments. Need them to offset the passing game.

a better statement Rammer would be that Reidsville needs that running game to COMPLEMENT the passing game................

116 for a freshman is good, I dont care the compeiton. I think it was smart for the coaches to fo with the most talented back.
