Well good, but nobody asked you and nobody cares what you say, pure and simple.
Is it the truth like you said something bad was going to happen at Pisgah the Monday after the Pisgah Tuscola game and Brett would be looking for another job?
Pisgah has seven sophomores and one freshman on varsity.

I would add it is how the votes are counted that matters as well and exclusions that are exempted from that vote. I wonder the percentages of kids shipped to Tuscola as special needs students or CHHS that would ordinarily be attending Pisgah or Tuscola. Might be worth researching. I have been told ALL special needs students in Haywood are bused to Tuscola, but I am not sure. As THS was just a few students over the limit (again as I was told) this factor might (or might not) have made a difference. As for winning conference championships in the WMAC, the best hope is to just be competitive. THS (nor PHS) It will be tough, both competitively and financially.
I wouldn't put any stock in the JV score. If you are in 9th or 10th grade and can play Polk will move you up to varsity. It helps the young guys get varsity experience,reps and coaching. As for tonight which ever team wins the turnover battle and doesn't give up big plays will win.
Tuscola had 1222 students in 2001-Pisgah had 838 .now Tuscola has 1063
Pisgah has 1014.Now mule tell me how if Pisgah is sending kids to Tuscola why over those years Tuscola enrollment went down and Pisgah increased?

Looks like you were right on the money. Pisgah pulls away late after their depth wears down Polk.

Agree the final score really isn't a good indication of how this game went tied at 28 in the third before Pisgah blew it open late hard fight from polk just hard to keep up with so many players playing both ways. Pisgah line really started to ware polk down late in the game either way great game went the way I figured it would.
That's what I figured would happen. Polk is a very well coached team but the Bears have plenty of depth and that really hurts small teams once the 4th qt arrives. But always have that soft spot for the Wolverines
even though the Constitution does support free speech, its just VERY unethical (just plain wrong) to push opinions, conjecture and rumors as facts. Depending on which channel you watch, you WILL see a bias one way or the other.
back on topic, Pisgah had a good game. It was close all the way to the end of the 3rd qtr.
The Bears wore Polk down in the fourth quarter.Overholt gave us all we wanted for three quarters.He plays both offense and defence.Polk had 200 yds in first half second half little over fifty.Good win for the bears ,Polk will make some noise in the WHC.

Poll County does not support their program very well. When you go to Polk next year, you will get to see how small their home crowd will be. I agree with you, a team that averaged nine wins a year during Ollis' first time there deserves more support. Like I have said before, smaller crowds are the norm now for most every school and this makes it tough on the athletic budgets.
We keep running the same few plays over and over..easy for the other team to game plan for us... The middle school runs more plays than we do.
I think "it all went wrong" when stupid people confuse a JOB and Facts with "team spirit or a false sense of loyalty." I wonder what the admin numbers were for Pisgah and Tuscola during the 80s when Tuscola ran off their streak of wins? DId they have 400 more kids back then or was it an even bigger advantage? (500? even more?)

Now back on topic, Skillylander, I graduated from Tuscola back when the big Mountie streak was alive. I don't remember the exact numbers but because the Clyde area was set up so you could choose to go to either Pisgah or Tuscola, many people chose Tuscola and that made the class size much larger than Pisgahs. Now the county is divided so the school attendance numbers are very close.

Yeah the numbers are even now so streaks like that are a thing of the past. I was just wondering how big of an advantage Tuscola had. It looks like it was around 400 kids in 2000. I was just wondering if it was even more back in the 80s.
Sorry I have been busy doing other things. As I promised, belated though it is, Your name is Danny Massey (or is it MASSIE)) (6 of 1 half dozen of the other.) If you want I can provide your address, work place, and even who you sat next to the last time you went to church AND when you voted last. I will be happy to provide this same info about me for all to see as well. I believe you Graduated from Tuscola, but NOW you are (apparently) a (die hard) Pisgah fan, AS most PHS fans you can not hope or wish for BOTH teams and kids to do well. It just doesnt work that way down here. There are some in WVL that feel the same way but a LOT fewer of them, I can almost list them on one hand. Most up there know that although they would LIKE to beat Pisgah, the season does not end after that game. PHS season ended when the clock expired on that game. Now thats out of the way, some of the less educated (and more biased, funny how that combination goes together even in sports) PHS fans think it is inappropriate to hold a job involving the athletic dept at a school, yet continue to post on message boards. Even while they post behind a screen name with impunity. Those days are about to change for a LOT of people. On both sides of the county. At any rate, THS is I believe, the smallest school in NC that is 3A, although with less students at this moment, is in the WMAC, while PHS has to be near the largest in 2a. with more students...Again at this moment in time if the numbers I was given just a week or so ago are accurate. Doesn't really matter though. Neither school is likely going to be exactly an all sports powerhouse in either league across the board anyway.
