I think it will be hard to get through conference unbeaten.I said before this is the strongest conference in WNC top to bottom.

Smoky behind 8 ball w loss to pisgah...but yes any given night any team can win..like i stated before east is improved but after seeing them play they are still a year or two away

The league will have two 2-0 teams, two 1-1 teams, and two 0-2 teams after this week.
Unless something strange happens this league should get 5 bids again..most likely hendo and brevard small2a and franklin pisgah smoky big 2a..the 5th place team could have 7 reg seasons wins and still be seeded as low as 14 or 15...right now brevard and pisgah have a non conf loss that will not factor in seeding so both those teams have chance to turn in 10-0 records which would most likely assure a top 3 seed and multiple home games...gonna be fun 4 weeks if you like small towm football that still matters

Losing Cseledy really hurt.I thought Mehaffey did about as good as he could.The offensive line needs to do a better job of blocking.

MILLTOUGH defense played up to the billing for the most part, and continues to be a dominate force. Our offense is offensive at the point, and I cannot understand why we choose to be so bad offensively. 6-16 114 yards is not a quality passing attack. We have good receivers (heck we have an ACC commit TE we never throw to.) Brevard last night showed me we are going to hafta score some points if we are gonna beat them. I love my Bears but I'm going to be mad as Coach Pressley at a basketball game if we lose to a team we should have beat because the coach refuses to adjust.

Maybe that's just this team's identity. Strong D, just enough O to win. Maybe the kids just like playing down to their competition. I mean that's how most teens are. Just do enough to get by.
Early the WR is a heckuva athlete also, I just think that Wike needs more touches than he is getting, no matter what position it is.
Wike has been battling that foot injury from the 1st game all season. That may be why the limited touches. Plus SM double him all night the other night.
It sure looked like that foot was fine on those two tds last night.... Either way, we don't win the conference without fixing our uglier than sin offense. What about putting 17 at quarterback? I think he could spread the ball around and you wouldnt lose 3 on the outside

Doesn't seem that the jet sweeps have worked as well recently either. Teams are selling out and blitzing as soon as they see the man in motion.
Some of you people are unbelievable.We are currently 7-1 and you want to change QB or think our coach is stubborn.
