Maybe South Point but no way with Shelby and Burns. It will not be close.
I expected that coming off a buy week. We will not have the luxury of any mistakes next week. Our mindset will once again determine the game IMO.
I would say a definite no to Shelby, South Point probably I don't know much about Burns so that's a IDK.
I knew if anybody was going to beat them it would be King's Mountain, a lot of noise in 3a coming from there this year. I don't expect Shelby to loose another game this year.
Shelby won't lose again... Burns might give them a scare, especially after Shelby was upset by Burns last year. But Shelby is way too good to let that happen again this year...
Tonight only hardened their armor for battle. You can bet the farm they won't let it happen anymore this year.
I've watched Burns twice this year, against Crest & tonight against Newton Conover. Burns is for real.. Fast, swarming defense and an All-State type RB..
There will be a thread coming Pisgah vs Mountain Heritage. We'll have to disect this for sure.
If not for two turnovers deep in our own territory we would’ve shut them out, things got hairy beginning of the 3rd quarter but then we scored 27 unanswered points after that. I expected to win but expected more of a fight from the Red Devils.
Shelby will skunk ER. South Point is down this year but they should still beat them. Folks are sleeping on Burns.. they will be right there in the thick of it come playoff time. They have some special playmakers.

er is what it is. you cant ever expect much but every now and again something will happen and we may win a few games. i met jerry cash a time or two but never met this bland fella. bland appears to what to throw it more than cash ever thought about it but the plays are predictable. best athlete on the field is the jones kid and they dont hide him or disguise anything. just line up and run it and if it won't work then try it again and hope for a different result. i sat on pisgahs side last night and the coaches were screamin the plays out just by looking at the formation. half the battle lost there. it is what it is thought. dont expect much and youll never be disappointed with rutherford county football.
lowrance was a qb by the way. bostic was the k.
Running game is just hard to judge because Heritage is so tough to run against. Had a couple of 10-12 yard runs on QB draws but that’s about it. RB would get some 4-6 yard carries at times. I think only 156 yards or so total including passing.
Just guessing by y'all's roster and by what you've said and a few stats, the linebacker core is the beef of your defense and #1 will need a lot attention to keep in check on offense and defense.. Just a layman's perspective.

Yes #1 is good runner and receiver. LBs fast and hard hitting but line disrupts a lot of the plays. Secondary shut down Hendersonville passing game, so I would say they are pretty solid.
Who are the key defenders for Pisgah and is the Robinson kid back from his injury? He runs well.
I will never forget 3 or 4 years ago up at East Bland has the lead and the ball with 1 minute to go. East has not thrown the ball all night but for some reason he decides to throw it . We pick it off and score the next play with 40 seconds left to seal the win. All he had to do was run out the clock ...lol.....

Man we had a darn good team. If I’m not mistaken that was 2014 and that was the year we lost in the first round to MT pleasant buy 1 point. Had a walk off field goal to win but it was missed. My son to this day will not talk about his last game of football in his life.
My bad Mopar you are one of my favorite poster but seriously any 10 year old playing madden would not have called that play.....East has always had the talent to keep up with any team.
