Oak Grove

No Clear Bag policy in place in Davidson County School System yet.
Gates open at 6pm. I think both sides concessions stands open at 6 as well. The band is in charge of the away side, so I can't speak for them.
Band concessions by catering by Shanna is the best in all of the Davidson County by far.

I would do 321 to I40....avoid Charlotte. Just saying.
I agree. But yesterday at five pm, 40 in Winston was a parking lot. Not sure what happened. Took Stratford to Thomasville which was forty minutes instead of twenty.
Either way is tough at five on Friday afternoon

My phone was a dead zone. Sorry Rulz and co. I went to the Crest side twice but didn't know who anyone was. Met a few good people though. Your fans are excellent.

The cake balls were fantastic. I got a Charger one cause the score lol.

Crest came out and punched em in the mouth. OG got TKOd early but kept getting off the canvas like Joe Frazier vs George Foreman. Proud of the Grizz despite the score, it was a blowout in the first half and a not so bad game in the second. OG had a great year and ran into a buzz saw in the second round, it happens. Good season guys...

I love that beast formation Crest has that was so awesome as a line guy.

I may go to Hickory next week we shall see.

A very slow wall
Gotta coach em up and get em ready. Always can get better, never be satisfied as an athlete. Shave that 40 by .01 til it becomes .1 and never stop.

OG is a conference champion of a weak conference that scheduled 4A teams to try and get ready. Only West Forsyth turned out to be any good unfortunately. SW Guilford and Ragsdale have decent athletes but are not good teams. Ragsdale a shell of what they once were especially. After the game tonight I say again with confidence Crest is better than West Forsyth especially on the outside. Crest fills the gaps quick on defense and pops you. OG wasn't ready and it showed early. Kudos to them for showing better in the second half, a reverse of the WF game if you will.

Crest fans are passionate and I look forward to future meetups. Good luck against ole Hickory, Chargers. You're good peoples in my book.

Tell me more about this football that's going to be played in Belmont?
This week the people in Belmont will be working on preparations for beating Crest again next year……like SP has commonly and typically done.
While those guys are perfecting Crest demolition 2025, you can work on finishing up that pencil-necked geek selfie pin up calendar for the crest locker room.

Man, hate I missed this thread earlier. You Cleveland County fans are hilarious. Good job spanking our little brother again.
I actually think this is part of our county's problem to be honest. And it's nothing against you my friend BJ85, I just have noticed over the years that unlike Cleveland our county does not support each other with rare exceptions.

I'm guilty as well I admit it. I have never cheered for Lexington but at this point that is for more reasons than just being a homer. I have never cheered for Ledford in anything. I have cheered for Tville outside of when ND played them. I cheer for OG outside of when ND plays them. I will get behind the county schools on their level of foozeball including SD because they have never been anything and need it lmao.

By and large however I find there is no love lost when county schools go places. Everyone hates Lexington and Lexington hates everybody. Tville gets support but there are also those who hate Tville. OG is hated because they're the shiny new toy everyone wishes they were lol. Daddy's money and all that jazz... and as for the other county schools they all hate each other especially Central and West.

So I admire Cleveland County for being like the armed forces: as a Marine I make fun of the chair force and dog faces and squids but I also have love for those guys cause we support each other when we're going to do work.

Alright that's it for me on this topic. On to basketball and observing the rest of the playoffs as a neutral guy haha

We don’t all cheer for each other. I’m not pulling for Shelby. Specifically the Football team. I’m old school and that’s how it was and that’s how it is. For me. They’re seven miles from Crest. I’m not pulling for them and I don’t want them pulling for Crest.

Believe it or not. That drives competition and is part of what makes it good around here. No true Shelby fan could ever pull for Crest.

Period.

Yeah, back in the 90s and 2000s everyone hated each other. Things feel better these days but there still some hate. Remember a fight broke out after the 95 game against ND, then of course the Lexington game could get a bit rowdy. I didn't know anyone from any Davidson county schools besides Thomasville and North. Only cause many of my family from my dads side were from Midway and moms were from Thomasville. Dad played football for the black knights in late 60s early 70s. Both sides of the family have fun talking smack about the rivalry. Nothing personal, all fun with what I post here. Believe everyone in Midway goes to OG now, it's good for them. Closer commute, new facilities, and good teachers. That said, 1-2 against my little dormant 1A Bulldogs.😛

When I transferred to Carver my sophomore year, the culture was alot more friendly and closer with Forsyth county schools. Even though we didn't like Parkland and a fight would break out at the game in Bowman Gray, we still get along. I have friends from every school in Winston. But yeah, gonna see the rest of the playoffs and check on basketball.

Me and a guy from Lexington almost went at it in 04. He was grabbing my face mask on successive plays so I cut him a time or two. He wanted to fight after the last one and I put my hands up in defense while eyeing the ref. Ref was staring at us. I said, "you play clean and so will I. Deal?" We grazed knuckles and got back to popping play after play lol.

There was a brawl in 84 or 85 I believe.

Tville is 2-1 against OG but 1-1 against juniors and seniors. Ledford beat the sophomores and juniors but I don't count that one lol
