Smash we know how it is. No telling what kind of hoops you had to go through. If Burns and Crest get anything in the next 10 years or more you better believe they will have to raise the money for it. Softball at Burns have been raising money for years to finally have a locker room and rest room. They bought a kit for an outdoor hitting shelter and the parts laid on the ground for damn near a year before the county finally came and put it up.It took the efforts of some hard working people to get the new board.
We're just waiting on the Chase High fundraiser to kick off. Gonna paint it blue and sell it to them for $100k.Yall should spray paint the old 1 first

Former Kings Mountain Head Football and Wrestling Coach and Athletic Director, Dave Farquharson, passed away April 6th. I think he finished his teaching and coaching career at Forestview. Coach Farquharson had a hand in molding the lives of many a young men. Rest in Peace my friend
I had a great relationship with Dave, a tremendous person and coach. At KM he developed that o line with curry, marshall, femster etc...and stellar wrestling program with multiple state champions. He gave kids all he had, including a story of literally the shirt off his back as well as money when kids were in need. He was a special person. That 98 win over K town was magical just like the run to the final. Coach Massey always believed in Dave and all of us who knew him did too. Talked to him at Forestview and rekindled some talks about the good ole days. Prayers for his family, friends and former students and players. RIP Coach, I will miss you and our friendship. Quite the man. God bless!
I take offense to the waddled partA Crest fan waddled into a bar
