Besides, the real question is was it a season ending injury. I will ask a friend whose son is on the team and get my answer.
The backup wasn't too shabby... I went to the boring game... Was surprised how bad Ashe was.... Credit to freedom for making them look that way. The atmosphere was like being at a funeral no life from Ashe fans at all.
The issue comes down to how concerned I am about the rest of the season and how far I think we might go in the playoffs. With him I think we might get a home playoff game and win one or two rounds.
Adkins has talked about the direction he wants the program to go and some playoff success this year would do a lot to establish that.
Unfortunately it's definitely not what it used to be. Hampton gets the kids to play hard but between low numbers and people in the community just seemingly not caring anymore for whatever reason, it's just not as fun. Ashe plays a fun brand of football throwing it 25-30 times a game, but maybe some of the "old timers" would rather see 3 yards and a cloud of dust, I dont know.
Thank you SC for keeping AC out of the playoffs…. I hate though that AC won.
Bear in mind that AC and SC are both 2-2. SC has Watauga while AC has Ashe. Should AC win and SC lose, AC will be ahead of SC in the standings and could still get in as they won’t be behind SC after everything plays out. The fact that SC beat AC won’t matter.
And that was supposedly after an Ashe incomplete pass trying to run out the clock while South had 0 timeouts

Currently sitting 28th in RPI so a win Friday and they're definitely in. Tuscola sits right behind you but hopefully we help you there.
