Nice testimony and interview we need more like him.
Sadly he’s ridiculed by many posters on these threads.
Wow ! He really has a grasp on life. It's little wonder Northeastern is so successful. His wins and losses are 182-41, that's over 80%, NCHSAA Hall of Fame numbers, and then some. He's a motivator, too.
I began my career fifty years ago, this month, but I retired a year and some months ago, after listening to him it makes me want to go back to work. Kind of makes me want to take my shirt off and go out side and it forty-some degrees. That'd be a quick trip to the rest home.
Winning a state title is on his mind and I got a feeling he won't stop until he gets it, even though it's clear the preparation of his players for winning at life as well as football comes first.

Yes sir Lincolnton he’s got that fire in his belly. I’m confident he will lead us to a state championship soon. He’s turned away offers from a couple of powerhouse hsfb programs recently that offered much more lucrative contracts. One program was located here in the East (3a) and the other program was out of the 757 that has consistently been one of the top programs in the country and has been featured on ESPN almost every year. I’m not sure if this will be our year but we’ll sure be knocking on the door. If we can get by Washington this week then we’ll get our shot at one of those Duplin County teams.
Thanks, Daagoob. I wondered, not if but who all, has tried to get him to leave Elizabeth City for another school. Money and location can be an enticing thing but a few people know when things are right for them just where they are.
Coach Moore is a great leader. Only a Great coach can win with that consistency. Talent only helps. WHEN he gets that championship, he will have earned it not deserved it.
Sadly some of your posters down south would disagree with your post The interview I posted was really good.All his players maintaining at least a B average, taking the kids to college football games, staying loyal to his hometown while turning away offers from Havelock and national power Oscar Smith (Va) recently. Putting God first, just to many things to post. I’m sure very few posters listened to it but they should. That’s just my take.
He didn't turn down neither them jobs goobs. Be serious lol when you play NE teams all day of course 80% winning percentage. He would make a huge mistake coming down south, get exposed
At this point, I’m convinced all you do in here is try to stir the pot. I’ve seen no one bad mouth this Coach on here. Good try though.

You really need to stay i your lane. You know absolutely both about our program or better yet our coach.
I watched a couple of his interviews leading in to the state title games in 18 and 19 he gives off the impression of being a very respectful and very classy head coach. And also very humble. If that rumor about him turning down the offer from Havelock is true then that says a lot. Because a lot of head coaches in my opinion would have jumped at that opportunity quickly.

Your welcome, thanks for taking time to watch it. I watched the Maiden/NYT video on YouTube a few weeks back. I came away so impressed that the following week I spent three days in the area and took in a game to see the #1 ranked Blue Devils play. I love traveling and seeing other teams play and meeting up with their fans. My wife and I drove out to Manteo yesterday and I went to the football stadium to take some pictures. It wasn’t anything like Lincolntons but it was better than First Flights and Camden that are in our conference.

I was at work. believe it or not I work 12 plus hrs a day most days. You know that I work for myself painting and restoring these cars. The hours are long but the pay is good and I really enjoy it, painting anyways, the repair work sucks lol. @blackbulldog you need to bring me your car, I’ll make it look amazing.
Wait at least 2 months after football season. Let him calm down some. 😉
