Excuse me but are you guys adults? I think it's important to remember that the student athletes read these forums and I'm sure this is not beneficial in any way. You can be a fan without being childish.

Not being childish, just hate for guys like this to get on here and actually make things tougher for their teams. Do you not think that people are turned off just because of this guy? I have no opinion of North, but now I hope they get drilled just for this guy. I stand by my belief that this guy is just a big of hot air. Now as for his reply, it like most of his stuff it is moronic and useless.
They do have a good coach, and I think NS may have closed the gap some, has anyone heard what WM numbers looks like, I know a couple of their studs didn't show up for summer workouts.

Also, there is a lot of difference between "they will crush everyone" and "they are fielding the best team possibly ever". And finally if you think posting doesn't influence players you are wrong, as bulldog 42 posted, players read these boards. Ever heard the term, bulletin board material?

He's pretty decent. Just not sure they have any other weapons this time around. With Emory at NS now, that may be the difference.
I am an East Surry fan. We are coming to a scrimmage at East Montgomery on August 10th to scrimmage ALL of the teams this post is talking about. Since we never hear anything about football in your area could you give me an update. We know West Montgomery will be very good and after last years playoff game with East Montgomery we now know East is also good. We know nothing about North Stanly.
Our team will be very young. We lost 18 or 19 seniors from last year. I hear the turnout is lower than last year but still about 30 on varsity and about 40 on JV.

WM - conference favorite, very solid program and well coached
NS - lost some key skill players but should be very solid. With their schedule, could tie or beat the school record for wins in a season
EM - could contend for playoffs, but jury is out. Should be on a tier below WM and probably NS

I believe it will be very hard for them to get back to that level, and my reason for thinking that is based on how people have moved either toward Norths district or souths and away from town, the neighborhoods in albemarles district(not all) but a big portion are not the most desirable areas in albemarle like they once were. People now wanna live on the outskirts.of town and not so much in the areas that were popular in the 80s-early 2000s

Here we go again grade pro always building them up just to be a disappointment. It is really hard to believe that a team who didn't content for a conference championship is ready to compete for a state chanpionship they must keep you highly medicated or your just that neive. The only thing north stanly will be crushing is the ground while they're being punished on Friday nights have some decent size but soft as always. Let me very clear about this The only reAson north is successful is they were moved down to
1a that's the only reason if they were still is RRC it would be a disaster
NS has always had good size but never was able to get over the hump,how long has it been since NS has beaten Albemarle.
Before last year....and not counting the 2014 Forfeit win NS received, I think you have to go back to 1993 when Gaster first took over the Bulldog program when North Stanly defeated Albemarle.
