Good win for the Black Knights. It was a typical first game of the season, penalties, cramps etc., etc.,.

A lil disappointed, thought we'd play better, but a win is a win. We should have won by more, but frankly I'll call Kennedy's fumble a fluke, so eh what ya gonna do. Boy that kid is a game breaker. Two touchdowns he took for 50+ yards.

Rameses, I'm not able to attend the games, I can only listen, is Chris Sotiffer not with the team anymore?

Good game by ND but I am a little concerned about ND's defense, they seem a little undersized and don't seem to swarm to the ball like they have in the past. But they only gave up 14 pts and seemed to bend but not break. Overall, ND played a good game, thought HPC kind of shot their self in the foot alot with all the penalties and the kickoff fumble at the 1. McCoy is the real deal and anytime he gets the ball in the open field he is a threat to take it all the way. Butts is really good throwing the short and intermediate passes but overthrew at least three deep balls that could have been TDs. Congrats to ND on a good game.

Lots of penalties tonight. Was kinda surprised that the game was as close as it was HPC is very young and undersized but are very fast the young qb made some nice throws. I think they should move him around a lil more maybe even go to the I formation some with some protection he has yhe potential to be one of the areas top qb. Most definitely will be following this young team.

North came out with some new uniforms that are REALLY nice! last night!

I think those stripes look awful. Just awful. We get new Jerseys way too often.

That block, however, looks fantastic.

Coach Sot is somewhere on the coast - left between 1st and 2nd semester last year

Oh wow, I did not know, I thought something had happened though. Sucks to hear, he's been a big part of the North scene for a long time. Those who are familiar know his work with both the Baseball team and Football team are a large part of why they were so successful. He was a DB coach when I played and very shortly after he was given reign over the Defense. It took him about 2 years, but he really transformed it back into the idea of being feared. Him and Mark, I personally believe, are the reason why North got back to actually being in contention for the CPC. Mark has finally had the time to create the culture he's always envisioned for ND football and it's here, while Sot really was tremendous in gaining the players respect and they were usually quick to buy into his plans for defense. I think it's a big blow that he left, just an awesome guy and coach.

Who has the defense now?

I was reading the newspaper yesterday and it said that HPC had 17 penalties for over 100 yards and were in the redzone 6 times and scored only twice. HP. Central may not be as bad as some people thought if they can fix the penalties situation I look for them to be a scary team later on in the season they are a very young team.

QB for HP Central is very talented Oline pretty good and the guy returning kicks was tremendous. I wish we would have stopped kicking it too him. Both teams had a lot of penalties but HP Central had more b/c they kept biting on the hard count. Joe Butts stat line looked good but he would be the 1st to tell you it wasn't one of his better games. He overthrew 3 wide open receivers on what would have been TD's. I guess I'm spoiled b/c he is usually so accurate. Go Knights
