Anyone know if they have held a drawing for the possible tie - Northeastern, Edenton Holmes, and Hertford County?

I think since all three will be tied for the conference championship and if Hertford County go 2AA then Northeastern will get the top seed in the conference because they beat Holmes but if all three stay 2A then their will be a draw for #1.

I thought each conference only got one, #1 seed for the playoffs regardless if one team goes A and another goes AA. So I would think all three would draw regardless. Does anyone know if this is correct?

4.5.3(h) Seeding: (1) from the 15-16 Handbook says "if teams tied for championship go to separate subdivisions (A or AA) then both are seeded as #1s." Having said that, I can't find anything in the online video about seeding or anywhere else that says if this has changed for 16-17. I was too cheap to buy the handbook this year, so this may have changed with some of the other changes that were made.

I know in years past that it worked this way but I was uncertain about this year with all of the other changes.

I emailed NCHSAA and got this response. This answer comes from Tra Waters, NCHSAA Assistant Commissioner when asked if teams tied for conference championship going to different subdivisions still both get seeded as #1s he said YES. So if Simmons is only giving one team a one seed then it could shake up what he has. No knock on his work, he does a great job. Football seeding is one of the world's greatest mazes to navigate!

@SimmonsRatings I'm not sure if this notifies you, but in case you didn't know.
