I know Monroe is well coached, I can't speak to Burns but from what I can tell they seem to have good guidance

I know Monroe is well coached, I can't speak to Burns but from what I can tell they seem to have good guidance
I believe Burns faithful is similar to Maidens...the talent is there and coaching is good for about 90%...but that 10% of play calling is really questionable. But we don't know what they're thinking or why...could be a damn good reason they make certain calls...you'll never know unless you got on a headset.
I can question our calls..but could be a coaches consensus call and what is best for our personnel and mindset at the time. It's always easy to judge from the sideline.

But has anyone else noticed @Maiden Creek likes posts all over the boards and posts at crazy hours like 3:52 am?
Im old and retired now (at 50 in January) but wake up sometimes around 4am (no idea why) and Ill log in and boom creek just posted something

Watauga is tough!…years ago they would have woodshedded us with ease. Bulldozed right over us with size and power.
This Maiden team is as big and strong in the trenches as I’ve witnessed in 50 years….and yet….Watauga was bigger…no fat boys either….and they were mad as hell. Shirley is a monster…good lord…just imagine him…lined up at every position across the line….that’s who Watauga is.
Matching up against that size and power…and holding our own….is very encouraging… however…our offense must improve….if not…. we’ll lose again…against another great team.
