NCHSAA girls basketball playoffs 2025

10 and 11 were pretty much the team for albemarle this year with a three from number three every now and then. That was about it. And they all graduate. Albemarle won't be a contender next year with all there best players graduating
I was wondering if Brown (#11) for Albemarle has signed with anyone. I think she can play D3/NAIA. Baldwin (#10) signed with WSSU.
Also, I saw where W Rogers signed with Montreat. I’m surprised a local D2 didn’t snatch her up.

McDowell had the top RPI in 4A west for a reason, it isn’t fair to say that they didn’t play quality competition when their RPI shows they did.
Watauga was only down three early in the third quarter before LN had a run. If the Lady Pioneers knock down a couple more threes and limit their turnovers, last night’s game could easily have been in the 6-8 point range.

Rogers definitely could play D2 somewhere, Swimmer has and offer from UNCA. fourkiller, younger Rogers and freshman Lossiah should have a few offers by the time they're seniors I think, and stamper may be D1 but in volleyball

Stamper is def fun to watch play middle for the vball team. Impressive that many of Cherokee’s b-ball players were also stars for their vball team.

An interest note or two:
Only common opponent that Lake Norman and Watauga Ladies had was Mallard Creek.
Lake Norman beat Mallard Creek on 11-23 by a score of 60 to 52.
Watauga lost to Mallard Creek on 11-29 by a score of 66-43.

I believe the only common opponent that Lake Norman and McDowell County had was South Mecklenburg.
Lake Norman won on 12-09 by the score of 72-17.
McDowell County won 03-04 by the score of 53-27.

Lake Norman points score vs points allowed is 2204 to 1017.
McDowell points scored vs points allowed is 1855 to 1039.

Do not know if any of this information tells anything to anybody except that this should be a really good game.

Hope the 8pm start time doesn't keep Cherokees fans from coming...Tuesday is the real state championship game

There aren’t too many D2 schools nearby, and I can think of a handful of good Cherokee players who have gone to Montreat.

Will the regionals be on tv Thursday? I’m trying to figure out if I need to ask for a day off Thursday. I’d really like to see the Southeast Alamance- Seaforth game

Cramer 28 N Lincoln 23 at half.
IMO, teams in the 1A and 2A bracket in the west are better than these two.
This is the only state championship I have going to the east.

The only team Lake Norman lost to was Hebron Christian. Just seen Hebron lost to Holy Episcopal. Holy Espiscopal was loaded with 6+ girls. One being at 6’5 and several 6’2 and couple 6’0. . Holy smokes.

I haven't seen Terry Sanford play and know they are loaded but I feel like if Holland and Womack are making shots they can play with anyone. Their high pace of play creates some sloppy games but that is the motive.
