Article in the Fay Observer. Gives a lot of credit to Knotts and Palmeri! Good read - I remember back in the 80's and 90's when Fayetteville/Sandhills was seen as the fertile recruiting grounds for NC. Fayetteville Football has dropped IMO but maybe it will come back. It really comes down to resources and priorities and Charlotte Schools have done a good job. However at the end of the day education should be the priority and if Charlotte is doing both that is a win win!

They failed tremendously if they believe Mallard Creek only produced 10 top level recruits.

I understood it to read that MC had 12 players on FBS rosters. Does anyone know how many or how many just on Power 5 conference teams?

West Point has ten. Nice mix of academics and very good football (now).

Ryan Jones: Oklahoma
Grant Gibson: NC. State
Vernon Grier: NC. State
Thadeus Moss: LSU
TJ Moore: Florida
Eric Douglas: South Carolina
Amari Henderson: Wake Forest
Jordan Davis: Georgia

Corey Sutton: App State
Max Durschlag: App State
Issac Hampton: Miami of Ohio
Nafees Lyon: UNC Charlotte

I might have left some out.

It would double if you add FCS schools and triple if you add D2. Over a 100 kids with scholarships to 4 year University's since the school opened in 2007. 12 scholarships for the class of 2018. This pass spring 15 graduated with college degrees.

2020 class has the potential of being the largest FBS class in school history. At the end of the day, your College degree does not have what div football you played, on it...

Obviously Eric Douglas is the most intelligent on the list. :)

Its just all made up gibberish. Some dudes like to have their own little made up personalities on the internet. I assume its an escape from the reality of a dissapointing life. He is largely ignored here and on other boards.
