Lol. All I want to know is where is all the talk now u talked crap all week on how west was a man show and Newton couldn't lose to a one man show.

I didn't say they couldn't lose to a one man show, I said no true team should ever lose to a one man show. As far as talking crap, it's called making it lively. Newton has not played a good opponent until West Caldwell and it is well known. But there is much improvement on defense and that's where you find out if your kids have some hangers between their legs instead of scoring 40 and getting 50 scored on them. Credit Coach Harvell and the kids for getting in the mix on D after 4 bad years of running away from tackles.

If they would paddle a kid today like he did me in school,he would probably been put in jail today but after one pop with the paddle that had holes in it ,I was a well behaved young man after that...lol....he was also my elementary school principal for a while also,,,Shuford Elementary...did alot of masonry work for him at his beautiful house,,,he had the fish ponds everywhere didn't he?...

First off, I never said WC didn't win the game, or did I ever say they didn't deserve to win the game. I pointed out that both teams played sloppy and made mistakes. You pointed out mistakes made by WC. I pointed out mistakes made by NC. If you didn't see those mistakes and missed opportunities in the passing game, no problem, just pay more attention next time.

Second, score should have been 28-6? Really? So, which one of NC's touchdowns should not have happened, because both were drives by the offense. NC scores 12, you say they should only have had 6, but in actuality, there were the opportunities I spoke of for many more. NC didn't make those plays, but needs to going forward. If WC doesn't fumble, yes they would have had another score to give them a total of 21 points, not 28. Fact is they did fumble, just like NC didn't make their plays. Penalties? Yes WC killed themselves, but just as NC not making the plays or WC fumble, that is nobody's fault but their own. NC hurt themselves with penalties, just not as much as WC. As I said in original post, both teams made mistakes and played sloppy.

Third, I bragged all week and now need to eat my crow? I haven't posted here all week (who's the dipshit now) until this morning, so again you should pay better attention. I knew WC was a good team, as I have a good friend on their coaching staff. As far as shutting the F up, that want happen if I feel the need to speak, and there is nothing you can do to change that.

Congrats to WC, you have a good team. Good luck the rest of the season

Bottom line here is disrespecting another school all week and losing with respect. How many WC drives were destroyed by the yellow laundry!
This game no matter how you want to spin it was NEVER as close as the final score. If you just look at the stats and not see the score one would never have believed the game was close. Chip English seems to out coach himself a lot of the time and if he'd not switched up the cadence system for this game then it would have been a comfortable 14 or 21 point victory margin. It's OK though, next year let's see you brag it up again the week before we play. That's good for motivation, lol

Couple of points. On the inadvertent whistle, the kid would not have scored. The WC defense stopped because of the whistle. It was a bad call but it did not make a difference. One NC TD that likely would not have occurred without the aid of the referee's decision is the second one. I was literally 20 yards away from where the pass interference was called on 11 for WC. It should have been a no call. 11 was completely turned to make a play on the ball and there was minimal contact initiated by both players. On the intentional grounding call that cost NC a closer chance at the winning field goal, the head referee made a decisive call and said that the ball had to make it to the line of scrimmage and did not. Was he right, i don't know.

Tickled to death the Warriors won. Newton is a good football team. Stinson is tough to stop.

The rule is you cannot spike in the pocket. You have to take snap from center.

West is going down like a $20 hooker on Hickory South Center Street. We're coming to Kudzu Stadium with our JV squad and turning up the heat, Devil style. Idiot. I'm from Newton. Red Devil not Blue. But I attend both schools games. English is a good fit for West Caldwell. Young coach has a bright future if he were to shop his coaching skills. Hope he stays at West. I've watched him work the sidelines and he fires up the troops.

I listened to the game on the radio. West Caldwell's defense played well while Maiden let frustration get the best of them. Its pretty much settled in the conference unless West Caldwell upsets one of the Lincoln County teams.
