It's that time, and unfortunately I only see Oak Grove winning. Unfortunately even more, I see OG going out in the second or third round. Bad draw but this year there aren't many weak teams after round one imo. Good luck to all!

ND will be a big underdog to NL but we've been here before... this team doesn't have the talent that the one that beat Scotland County did but it has happened just saying... if we get blown out we were supposed to be anyway haha.

OG will destroy North Iredell. Then it gets hard quick. Rematch with Crest from a few years ago. Then if they survive that Hickory awaits. Grizzlies have the ability but need the statement win to be taken seriously as the team from the weak conference in the establishments eyes...

MC will be killed. Ditto for Aboro. And make it triple for CD.

I"m kinda thanken, Mister Black Knight, that Central Davidson will hold the scoring margin of loss less than any of the Mid State teams , excluding Oak Grove's probable win. I honestly didn't think Montgomery Central would get in, nor Asheboro. I don't think Asheboro has ever played Dudley. They're in for a real treat.

If anything can help hold the score down, it's the double wing haha. ACR is superior athletically but CD will show up and scrap no matter the outcome

Central got a tough draw, but don’t forget that upset of Eastern Guilford last year. That incredibly frustrating Wing T shortens the game tremendously (when they don’t turn the ball over a ton like they did vs Oak Grove).

IMO, OG wins first round and maybe second but probably faces Crest and i think gets beat. maybe not by much. If they made it to the 3rd would probably face Hickory and would lose by 2 TD's. I don't think OG had a tough conference this year like many others have said but they also do not have the big threats in QB or RB that they have had in the years past. The RB Williams is a great kid from what I know of him and pretty quick, he does not have the power of past RB's from OG. The QB is young and hopefully will get some camps in the offseason and improve. OG does have a pretty strong kicking game if it comes down to that. They have seemed to be able to put a lot of the little things they do have together to make a good year.

I will say this, ACR lost their QB/leading rusher and their leading tackler Linebacker last week to serious knee injuries. We will be playing our FOURTH different starting QB this week. It’s going to be tough one for us.

Yes pretty much. He had a couple of touches if I am not mistaken his Freshman year.

Williams was starter on JV as a sophomore but was 8qtr so got some play time as a sophomore before getting pulled up at end of season.
