Douglas Byrd was the first one that came to my mind. And to add insult to injury they were defeated in their last state title game appearance by their former legendary coach Paroli who coached at 71st in 2008 near the end of his career. Byrd was a great program despite the title game woes but Byrd has really fallen on hard times in recent years.
