Looks like even matchup. Cards need to cut out the turnovers. Home field advantage will be big and I see Cardinals winning in a close one.
34 point swing from 1 player? If #4 for ES plays, then I''ll go with EAST by 2 td's. If not Monroe by +20
Cardinals 352 yards rushing last night34 point swing from 1 player?
I was thinking the same thing. Didnt know Randy Moss played for ES34 point swing from 1 player?
Being able to control the ground is a weapon.Cardinals 352 yards rushing last night

I think Boaz will be the difference maker in this game. 10,000 career yards. Top 10 NCHSAA history. Not just his arm rushed over 170 Thursday.Difference maker
He is doing the same thing Austin Flemming the ES athletic director did his senior yearI think Boaz will be the difference maker in this game. 10,000 career yards. Top 10 NCHSAA history. Not just his arm rushed over 170 Thursday.
Wasn't really alot of control with their ground game honestly. Thise numbers don't tell the story of the game. They did run it well but they couldn't score.Being able to control the ground is a weapon.
Cardinals have talent. Weak schedule not good for them again this year. I think this adversity will be good thing. Look for this game against RedHawks to be a good one.Wasn't really alot of control with their ground game honestly. Thise numbers don't tell the story of the game. Bearcats not connecting on the deep pass and a terrible call to end the game was the difference. We ran by their DBs all night...just had an out of sync night.
Hats off to ES though. They made the plays they needed to make to win. That's what they were suppose to do.
I agree. ES ran the ball very well but just couldn't capitalize on it. Hendersonville's speed showed. I think both teams left some points on the board. Imo I think the lack of one or two speedy athletes is the only thing ES lacks and that would take them to the title. They had that back in 2019. They have a huge line. Just large players in general. I expect Monroe to be a tough test for the Cards. Looking forward to seeing this gameWasn't really alot of control with their ground game honestly. Thise numbers don't tell the story of the game. Yes, game time is 7. Look for the Cards to defend the nest.Is gametime 7pm?
Think he applies at west Forsyth?Difference maker the x factor is Coach Lowman. I just dont thing ES will have enough for Monroe.
Don’t think Lowman will leave. Talent level down a couple of years but the group of freshman and 8th grade going to be something special.Think he applies at west Forsyth?
One thing for sure, he definitely has your bunch from Mayberry’s numberDifference maker the x factor is Coach Lowman. I just dont thing ES will have enough for Monroe.
I could see that. I do think he leaves East. I have herd he wants to be back in Catawba County. I could see him going to 3A N Lincoln.Think he applies at west Forsyth?
True but they played last season i think MA wins big and this year if #25 Reid wasnt out hurt would made a big difference as he plays LB. 14-12 would made a 2 point difference. Was Boaz worse game had 2 ints and MA shut them down 2nd half. Now come back and say smart a$$ comments. One thing for sure, he definitely has your bunch from Mayberry’s number
I’ll leave the smart A comments up to you. Seems that is what you are good at. Seems like for a long time it’s always woulda coulda shoulda for the Granite Bears. Got the talent to win it all in 1A this year and next. We will see what the excuse will be this year if they self implode like they did last year.True but they played last season i think MA wins big and this year if #25 Reid wasnt out hurt would made a big difference as he plays LB. 14-12 would made a 2 point difference. Definitely Lowman here now. He will definitely have the Cards ready to play.I would hate seeing ES lose Lowman if that ever actually happened....but daggum I would love to watch Lowman and Byrne go at it every year....that would be a treat
Figured we would hear more from red bird fans on both sides. I know the Cardinals really well but know very little about the Hawks other than their record and seeing them last year.Definitely Lowman here now. He will definitely have the Cards ready to play.
I don't believe there are very many Monroe posters on hereFigured we would hear more from red bird fans on both sides. I know the Cardinals really well but know very little about the Hawks other than their record and seeing them last year.
Not many East Surry posters either.I don't believe there are very many Monroe posters on here

Grizz...that was one huge tarp. Settle a bet. My friend thinks it is Maiden-owned. I say y'all borrowed it, because otherwise I don't think you'd ever purchase a green tarp, instead of blue.I don't believe there are very many Monroe posters on here
It's Maiden's tarp...football borrowed from the baseball team...only big enough to cover from the 20 to the 20...that's why the redzones/endzones were much wetter. We do have some blue tarps that we had deployed on the wings to try and keep some other areas dryGrizz...that was one huge tarp. Settle a bet. My friend thinks it is Maiden-owned. There's a dollar riding on this

Think this game has more scoring that last year. ES 27 - Monroe 24.Monroe in a close one
