It wouldn’t surprise me to see Oak Grove actually win the boys side of the conference. They play Ledford next week in an interesting matchup.

According to MaxPreps there are some very impactful games coming in the next 7 days for the MPC!

Tonight:
North Davidson (1-2) hosts Ledford (2-0)
Oak Grove (3-0) hosts Central (2-1)

Tuesday 1/28:
Central (2-1) hosts Ledford (2-0)
Oak Grove (3-0) hosts Asheboro (0-3)

Wednesday 1/29
Oak Grove (3-0) hosts Ledford (2-0) ((makeup))

Friday 1/31
Asheboro (0-3) hosts Central Davidson (2-1)
Oak Grove (3-0) hosts North Davidson (1-2)

It also appears the only force against Salisbury in the CCC is North Rowan; they will play again the last game of the regular season in February.

Well we at north did our part and got thumped. On the bright side of what I was already certain was going to be a pretty horrible showing by us, I intentionally sat behind the Ledford bench a few rows because I had never watched Coach Ferguson coach up close in personal. She did not disappoint. And while some people will say that other teams beat north by more, it was pretty clear that she was not trying to run the score up, despite the fact that our coach would never have shown such restraint.

It was impressive to say the least, albeit a bit frustrating as a north fan.
