Watching the NCHSAA board live and a question came up about charters and rules. The Director says they requested that charters follow the same rules as traditional schools. If that is the case, then how can they have a 25 mile radius of kids to enroll, recruit, whatever. Now on to my question. Can anyone clarify the HighschoolOT reporting that 1A, 2A,3A and 4A will be combined for individual and dual wrestling. Is that a misprint and do they mean 1A/2A and 3A/4A will combine? To make two regionals with top four qualifying in an 8 man bracket for states would be absolutely insane for wrestling. That would be like over 120 schools trying to fill a 16 man bracket.
