Embarrassment: You and your entire posting family are absolute embarrassments to the Shelby name... You make up lies about contacting the state that was proven to be a lie, you were banned... You speak about "Mr Shelby Lion football" I bet pappy was so proud that whichever one of his sons caused that travesty of embarrassment...You spout your facts about Golden Lion success when hell everyone knows it, then you get all bent out of shape when you get called out and resort to petty nonsense....
The best thing any of you ever did for Shelby is create the new logo... Thats actually pretty nice, but trust me they all laugh at you, they all think you are absolute clowns, and everyone across this state, to a man ask all the time who are those morons... I just tell them, idiots..,,,Thats what you are, thats what you spout and everyone across this fine state hates us, because of you,and laugh at you, for being you....
by all means fellas, keep it up..... We are all laughing at you... reporters, fans, coaches, supper club members, they all cant stand you, due to your online personas or absolute lack thereof........ So huddle up, ask Great grand pappy Lion what to say next, and clap back....

As stated before, we do not respect or believe what you have to say about us. Don’t care.
You have been resentful and jealous of us and of our posts since we entered your little world here long ago.
Go ahead and admit it. Your cheap shots came early and often, long before our years of setting the record straight had gotten this far.
But for whatever reason known only to you, you took this opportunity to pair up with nepsy, of all people, to cheap shot us again.
Let me clarify, this is the grandpappy writing.
My two sons post under their own handles.
But our posts here under this name do share a collective reasoning and, on occasion, a primary mission.
“We” also accounts for other individuals that do not post themselves but have asked us to question various high school football topics.
We have an assignment for you as we go through this with you. It is easy.
Tell us all please, exactly what have you personally contributed to the Shelby football program over the years. We know you buy a few game tickets some seasons, spend hundreds of dollars at the concession stand, and show up at games as a smudge, leaning on the back wall of the reserved section with your spit cup, once in a while. You may holler at a bad call, or cheer a remarkable TD.
But other than that, what are your tangible contributions to the program. Posts here don’t count. Anybody can do that.
Let’s start at the top of your “South Shelby” rant.

Boy, that one really set you off. I guess because he used “Shelby Lion”. That’s your name. Oooo.
Four generations of contributing Shelby Golden Lions football players. All lived in Shelby after high school and college. Been here for all of it, seen most all of it. Got a fifth generation coming.
You ignorantly mock that. Jealous again.

You think everyone knows now of Shelby’s football success? We can stop? Good.
Tell your Reidsville buddy Mule. He is praying for us to stop.
Tell the young people just now coming into a passion for high school football.
Tell the transplants into the state so we don’t have to.

Glad you like the logo. Did you know some in the Golden Lion family did not? You see, we break barriers. We are not afraid of criticism.
Do you like the plans for the new inclusive field house? Do we care?
How do you feel about the supper club?
We have participated and supported it for years. But we have never seen you show up, despite food involved. What’s up with that?
“Trust me” you say. “everyone across the state asks me about you all the time” and “they hate us because of you”.

Again, we can’t please everyone. Don’t try to.

Do you think full front sports page Charlotte Observer articles happen on their own.
The Golden Lions program success has earned such features now and in the past, but some of us morons behind the scenes aid in making it happen.
Langston and Scott F are on our speed dials.
Coaches? Have any of Shelby’s coaches asked you to take their son on recruiting visits?
Work on their homes?
Bale and load wheat straw with them in the summer heat?

Fans? We don’t worry about a few fans. You are a fan.
But supper club members? Really?
We would expect as much from Mule, but for you to try and sow discord amongst supper club members is a new low. We all give our time and money freely to provide some fun, good food and fellowship, a small amount of mentoring, and enduring friendships between the old and the new. We are close to some of the adult members, not as close with others, but fully respect and admire their tangible contributions to the players and the program.
Where are you?
You are summed up here in one word.
Jealous.
We came into your world here, a world where you felt you mattered and you had made friends.
And we turned it upside down with our credentials, our connections and on a mission to make sure as many North Carolina high school football followers as possible knew of Shelby’s position on top. Factually and historically.
The winners always get the hate from those that choose not to like them. Happens in all sports, all the time.
But there may be good news fo you, SL.
The recent broad coverage in the Charlotte Observer the day before the Championship game does reach a pinnacle.
For the Shelby Golden Lions program to be featured as
The Dynasy in bold headlines both on the front front page and the sports page was huge.
We’ve fully busted through any anonymity and that can stand as the success we have worked for. And many others have helped us, primarily the coaches and players with amazing continued championship performances and others that do more to help than just post here.
We are just the little guys behind the scenes.
Always there to protect the program’s established position on top. Too many have worked too hard to get the program there.
