Louisburg? What’s the deal?

So I’m checking out all the teams…and notice Louisburg plays Franklinton this week… but it says the game is non conference. I say…”well..that’s not right”…then look again…and heck…they’ve moved to another conference?? Do what?…now they’re in the Northern Lakes 2a-3a. Geezus!! When?

They refused to play the 3a teams before…but then appealed…could get in the playoffs at .500 or better…and now they switched conferences.

Why isn’t someone over there posting this information.

I mean…good grief!…What’s that all about??

They were in our conference (Big East 2a/3a) and refused to play the 3A schools…ineligible for playoffs but healthy when they got to Bunn, RR, Nash Central. I find it crazy that they appealed to move to another 2/3a split. There’s a chance that 1 or 2 of our remaining 2a schools won’t have enough bodies to finish the season after the 3a games.

Hopefully the next realignment will narrow the school size difference.
