The day has come in 2019. We've talked the talk now its time to Walk the Walk. Put up or shut up. For the Conference Championship, top seed in the playoffs. SWO is made to Run and that's what we will do. Throw in a pass here and there. Off and Def line should be in playoff form. A win should get us at least one home playoff game, maybe more depending. I have no delusions about a 1-2-3 or even a 4 seed. It dont matter. Just play who is in front every Friday night. I think it will be a great playoff in the East 2A no matter how the State lines us up. Should we be looking ahead, yes. Fail to plan and plan to Fail. Coach Dempsey and his staff have done a great job of bringing up players and giving them game time. We have the depth and game experience. Time to put on the Nikes and ............

Sorry but I have to jog her memory. From 80-89 SWO lead the decade 6-4. Richlands did win her senior year (86 -8-6).

This guy here haha....... SWO will curb stomp Richlands this year by 3 or 4 tds easy. SWO is a different team since week 4. Made a few changes, moved a few freshmen up, added a few to the roster. SWO will be in the Eastern finale playing Clinton in a few weeks. JK will be at home playing roundball. See over at SWO practice during thanksgiving every year.

It's 4 o'clock and the Stallions are packin up for the short drive up the road to Richlands. Start of the Journey to the Ship. We know the path well. If we make it that far will be our 8th trip. But back to the present ....Wonder if SWO will make some kind of entrance this year ?? I'm settin up the control booth here at SWO-#1 central. Havin chili dogs before the game. Its gonna be around 32 here at game time. The local HS is playin the second round of the playoffs. I would be there if this wasnt such an important game. Besides we are highly favored, just like SWO.

Stallions, if they are there, are warming up the kickers and some others. The BIG BOYS wont come on till its A$$ kicking time. Richlands has declared a State of Emergency in anticipation of anther Beat Down. Concerned Wildcat fans are urged to take shelter at the McDonalds across the street. To much on the line this game to take any prisoners.

Melvin has done went thru the commercials prior to kicking off the broadcast of the interview with Coach Dempsey. Playin music now so in a couple of minutes will get started.

Here is coach Dempsey on last week and this game with the Richlands Wildcats:

We did a great job last week. Dicipline was real good.

Richlands like all teams in our conference want to beat us.

We have a phrase Want some .....come get some

Richlands QB is not big but scrappy, if we dont wrap him up could be trouble.

They have some good backs, One used to be with us.

No body really blows you away but run hard

Their O line has decent size, nothing overwhelms you. They will be the best team we have seen since ED

They have about 32 on varsity so quite a few go both ways.

The D backs are athletic enough to be in the right spot. We just cant throw it up.

Our Off takes pride in the running game off tackle. Against better teams may not work right away but just have to stick with it. We will try and establish the run and dominate the line. They will probably stack the box and try and force us to pass. If I was coaching against us I would.

Our defense just has to play solid and get a hat on every body. They like to run the triple option. We feel like we know what they like to run out of different formations.

Our kicker has done a good job. Just keep it away for the guys we dont like. I feel good about a 30-35 yard FG. This game is bigger than the win streak. Dont get over hyped, dont out play our selfs. This is what high school football is about.
