Get ready for a Smash Mouth game !! There should be quite a few around the state tonight. Yet once again my Stallions travel to Elizabeth City for a playoff game. Lots of speculation about coaches in this one. The Pickem thread has the Eagles as Overwhelming favorites to take it. Just a few SWO posters and one Clinton fan picked the Stallions. Do the Eagles hold serve or pick up the coveted Toilet Bowl Trophy ?? A returning QB for NE and a Soph. starting QB for SWO. I think it will come down to DEFENSE. High flying passing Eagles or Ground Pounding Running Stallions on offense.

Pre-game show with Coach Dempsey of SWO @ 7 KICKOFF @ 7:30

Thanks Darkhorsed04 ..... same to the Darkhorses tonight. I know I picked against you tonight but just a hope for more home field games for SWO down the road. Probably wont happen ...... :)
 
Hey #1 how do you listen to the game I know the radio station but sometimes that doesn’t get good signal. isthere a link you could send to listen on the internet?

you betcha 2012 ... WJCV.COM .... Billy and Melvin do a great job. Its broadcast Around The World In Living Color. Just bring up the link and clink the Listen arrow .... They are on 24-7 now on the internet. Pre-game show with an interview of Coach Dempsey, starts at 7 or half hour before game time. 7 tonight.Have fans tuning in from all across the nation. Tune in and enjoy. Welcome to the Corral of DORKS ......LOL. The Station plays Southern Gospel. You will get the music before the game starts but as soon as it time it will switch to Billy and Melvin at the game.

You guys do a good job with the Clinton games. But I'm a thinkin its gonna go down to the wire tonight again for SWO & NE ....... :eek::eek::eek: If there is a break I do go and check out ya'lls game and other scores in games of interest. Lots of big games tonight in our area, Northside, East Duplin, Clinton and SWO.

Thanks and yes I’ve always thought billy and Melvin did a great job always giving great detail. Lol there sure are a lot of dorks in the community but as long as they’re passionate about stallion football they are friends in my book haha

Long trip to ECity this afternoon. We will probably have to get on the road before school lets out. Band probably wont be there but the NE band will provide the festivities before the game and during half time.

The theme song for todays trip ..... I'm sure the Stallions will be singing it all the way there:

I’m not a fan of either school. I watched NE play a couple of times this year and SWO last week. It will not go to the wire. NE will win this one handily! NE @ SWE next week.

Well there we go, an unbiased opinion from and outsider. You ain't from around here, are ya ? Just goin with the flow of the general consensus of the forum.

A flock of eagles went out flying one dark and windy day

Upon a light pole at the field they rested along their way

When all at once a mighty herd of red eyed Stallions they saw

A- running on the road and up the cloudy draw



Their brands were still on fire and their hooves were made of steel

Their manes were black and shiny and their hot breath they could feel

A bolt of fear went through them as they thundered through the sky

For they saw the Stallions coming hard and he heard their mournful cry



Both teams were plain hard

Their faces gaunt, their eyes were blurred, their uniforms all soaked with sweat

The’re Givin all to catch that State win, but they ain't caught it yet

Cause they’ve got finish the game, determine a winner & loser


Go on down to Florida, get some sand in your shoes

Maybe to Miami, Watch them Hurricanes Play

Nothing more here in ECity for you to do

Had to turn up the heat at SWO Central Control Booth. Temp is droppin fast down to below Freezing soon. Having Fried Chicken and Clole Slaw for pre-game meal. Wife made some cinnimon rolls with rasins and peekens for snacking during the game. Figured I would have BIRD as the Stallions will get some also tonight ........

Here we go with Coach Dempsey on last weeks game with AG and his thoughts about tonights game:

Another close game with AG.

We've had defenses like last week in the past. The more they play the better they get.

For NE they always have good athletes. From what I've heard Proctor will be back tonight. I think most of the time they will go with the backup. They have a big ole full back, a good looking kid. A lot of good athletes, nobody really blows your away.

A good looking group on Offense. Dont think they are as good as last year. I think we have some size on em. NOthing we havnt seen before. AG had some hogs on the line last week.

On defense the Eagles hav some going both ways. Different personnel than last year. Not as much depth.

On offense we will probably run out of the gun more. A lot of motion, they play man to man so have to get em moving.

Foster getting hurt has put a little effort on the team. They talk about it a lot. They WANT to go father.

To play the Eagles offense we just have to keep doing like last two games. Put pressure on the QB. I have challenged the DB to get more physical on the recievers. We didnt do that last year..

Getting 3 yards every run I will go for it every time on 4th down.

We arnt intimidated in the least. We know who we are and not going to back down.
