Congratulations to Newton-Conover.i was working and didn't get to go. I heard Lincolnton put up a pretty good fight but wore down in the second half. I've felt like it would take Coach Beam about this long to get things where he wants them.

From what I've seen on here and in the paper, the Red Devils had a good chance of beating Hibriten who must be a very good team.

I noticed that N-C isn't ranked in the top ten of the NC Preps polls and granted it (the 2A poll) looks solid. I think the Devils could probably play with most of these teams.

As a side note, I do miss the poster GoDevilsGo, even though he seemed to be quite irritated with the Wolves, and some of my comments the last time I remember seeing his posts. He could enjoy this season since his team appears to be solid on both sides of the ball.
