Lake Norman won 90-43 over West Rowan with multiple dunks. They will definitely be a force in mens basketball.

With a little exception, but very little, LN starters played the 1st and 3rd quarters. Score in these two quarters was 60 to 13, if I added correctly. The defense for LN is what starts everything for them. And run, run, run they can and do.
And while their is a clear starting 5, the fall off is not that great with numbers 6, 7 and 8. And they are only going to get better as these 3 get more and more playing time. They are a fun team to watch.

Lake Norman stays undefeated as they beat New Hanover 68-61. New Hanover must have really good team as well.
I had a Christmas party last night and couldn’t make the game. I knew it would be a good one. A little surprised we lost. That was only our 3rd game of the year.
I haven’t seen the box score yet.

Tonight Statesville host Lake Norman. Why I am not sure😇.
Statesville my have a chance for two wins, jv games. They have no chance in the varsity games. But, that is just my opinion and expectations. And why you play the games.
This is my feeling of what has to happen for The Greyhounds to have one or two varsity wins:
put sugar in the gas tanks of the Lakers bus;
a covid scare comes this afternoon and both the girls and boys teams are put in isolation;
there is a UFO sighting over Statesville and the Mayor declares a State of Emergency;
a water pipe burst and floods the Herb Sampsel Gym.
Otherwise these two games will be over quickly, I believe.

I was correct in the above post, even more than I thought. Final score of 88-63 does not tell the story. The led got to 34 in third quarter and Coach Hodges really started playing his 2nd 5, then his 3rd 5 and then the last 4.5 minutes his jv players. Statesville kept playing starters until late 4th quarter.
Josh Yates and Tre Mackinnon shot the lights out from 3, Trent Steinhour played like a man possessed in the middle, and Nick Arnold just continues to amaze where ever he is on the court.

I wasn’t at this game but Lake Norman lost to Milton high a team from Georgia who is ranked 38th in the nation. Score ended up 87-67. Anyone at this game.
Was not at the Lake Norman Milton game, but did ask LN Coach about it and he just said "that was a really good team".
To beat Lake Norman by 20 they must have been an exceptionally good team.

Reidsville probably best public school in the state. Like to see them play lake norman
I would like to see Reidsville play sometime this year. But may wait until playoffs If I can get up to see them. Have to say they really are a special team.

Can anybody tell me where 71st and Westover currently rank in 3A if ranked at all? I'm overseas and restricted from Maxprep server so I have limited ability to look myself.
71st (4-1, 2-0) is 5th in 3A and 70th in NC.
Westover (6-3, 3-0) is 14th in 3A and 172nd in NC.
