Lord I wish we were spoiled, an underfunded program, hardest conference in 2A in all of North Carolina, only had about 30 varsity guys before moving up some JV, but yeah we are spoiled🤣 East Duplin didn’t “eek” out a win they won it deservingly, and that year they won I can confidently say if you would’ve sent any of the 2A Du. Co. Teams to play the west the outcome would’ve been the same, an east champion. I don’t think any Wallace or East duplin poster would disagree with that statement. I won’t be going anywhere regardless of the outcome on Friday. P tuck. A team in NE conference, haven't been good since it opened. One of the worst teams in all of NC, in any classification lol. He's just a troll that's been on here since these boards started. Talks a lot of shit and always gets a pass from the mods.
Haven’t seen either team play but based in the comments from both teams posters, I think James Kenan will have to rely in the power running game to win this one. It does appear that the Northeastern offense is explosive. The best way I know to pressure a potent high octane offense is to limit possessions and make every possession critical. One holding call could derail a drive. It also appears the Northeastern defense is better too. If the defense is as capable as the posters say, James Kenan will have to dominate the line of scrimmage to win this one.
Don’t give Goobs a hard time. Yes, he is always over the top about his team and very proud of them - just like he should be. Posters give him a hard time but most teams would love to have a fan like him. He has been down the Duplin County road before and that’s why he wanted a DC team to make the drive to Elizabeth City this year. A shot at redemption, and there is certainly nothing wrong with that.
I will be pulling for James Kenan this Friday but I think it’s going to take an almost perfect game.
Don’t worry about Chopper either. He keeps things lively with well thought out posts and some meant to get under a fan base’s skin. (Especially eastern NC football). James Kenan has lots to be proud of and the hardware to prove it.

I think NE has the better offense while we have the better defense. We’ve had a good defense for years now, Hassan korneagy is no joke, and never mind our secondary. But yeah it’s going to have to be a near perfect game, a single call may decide this game.

LOL😂 it’s called having class. Do you seriously think James kenan is incapable of running up the score on pudding pop teams. Coach Grady is a man with class and understands there’s kids on the other team too, other coaches have thanked him for not doing so. When we get a nice cushion he puts in the players who don’t get a lot of PT, something a lot of other coaches don’t do. There’s 3/4 games where James kenan could’ve scored 80 if they put petal to the metal the whole game. But that’s classless, don’t embarrass the other kids, and let the ones on your team who don’t play much get out there on the field.
The only receipts to pull is you acting this same way years ago, and getting humbled. If I get a chance to, I will definitely come over and speak. Goob being confident, and being cocky is too different things. It's ok to be confident, cause I'm confident that we'll be playing in the eastern championship game next week.
