I have been a fan of NCpreps for more years than I can remember. I enjoy the banter and entertainment it provides. I also enjoy being made more aware of how high school football is in other parts of this great state. In my profession and duties associated with it, I chose not to engage in making comments. Now that I am free of certain constraints I feel the need to add my 2 cents. My 2 cents are in response to SWETT2VICTORY constant reference to Richmond Sr. as "Ritchie Rich". I find it offensive and derogatory. It implies that the people in Richmond are born with a silver spoon in their mouth, which anyone who has spent any time there knows is far from the reality. The majority of people in Richmond are salt of the earth people who struggle in an economically challenged area just like the people in Scotland and Robeson counties. Enough is enough, I am sure you would not like your beloved adopted schools being referred to as Purnell Sweet or the Fairmont Golden Showers. To me, being from Richmond, you are calling me Ritchie Rich so do I refer to you from now on as Hick Spick or Swett Wetback? No, think I will take the more mature path and simply ask you to kindly stay off of Richmond threads unless you can stop the name calling and add something informative......sorry to the others for the rant may not make a difference but I feel better.
Why am I not surprised? As per your usual you play the class clown and resort to your inner child to respond. I don't know, you are probably a great guy in person after all you are a veteran or so you say.
