From my understanding what I saw NCHSAA announced that there will be price increase in state playoffs for 25/26 not only for football but other sports as well.
Example
Football
1st/2nd $10
3rd/4th $14
Regionals $16
States $20

Now Yall understand the reason for 8 divisions.. Hike up the playoff ticket prices because you have more playoff games. NCHSAA is not even ran by the state. Where is the money they’ve earned and will earn in the future going?

This was a request by the schools. They claim in some cases playoff game cost less than they were charging for regular season games. Maybe they should have lowered their ticket prices.

The price increase is needed. Some host schools are going in the negative. To make money you are better off to be a visiting school. The NCHSAA has kept ticket prices the same for many years, yet everything has increased in price. From officials, security you have to hire these days, paint, field maintenance....etc.

doesn't the NCHSAA have millions of dollars in a endowment fund? you would think that they would start sharing that money with the schools who made them that wealth to help with officials, field maintenance ect.
