I thought I make a special thread on this one. The Big matchup we anticipated to happen. Both teams are 31-0. Winner advances to the State 3A final. Any thoughts with this game. Can Hickory make history and pull out a big one like we seen football. It’s going to be exciting one to watch.

I have seen Hickory a couple of times... DON'T SLEEP...
I’ve not seen either team,CC has a transfer about 6-8 that’s for real,Daniel boys are good hickory better be able to run 32 minutes
I see Hickory has couple 6’ 8 on the roster. Anyone know anything about these 2 players. CC has one 6’9 and 6’6
Hickory is very solid with those two... They rebound as good as any I've seen all season... It will take one hell of an effort to beat them...
CÇ style of play could be problematic for Hickory. I still think Hickory will be methodological in how they run their offensive sets. Very interesting game

Hey CHEERDUCK, did Hickory boys win the State 3A in basketball back in “96, the same season Hickory won the football State 3A. I couldn’t remember if it was girls or boys that won it at the time.
HHS lost on a last second 3 point shot at the buzzer in '97. The current head coach had lead HHS back from a deficit in the 4th quarter of that game.
Some interesting facts about Central Cabarrus. Since the 20/21 season which was shortened that year due to covid up until now Central Cabarrus is 105-3.
Hickory is 101-4 in the last 3 years as well.

Great ball game .... ended at same time as Hurricanes, who lost a 1-0 game to the NY Rangers.
In my opinion this was the State Championship game. both teams are exceptionally good.
