I saw this post and was like here we go, gonna talk bout how good Hibriten is lol. We all know big fish little pond with only competition being Patton and maybe Foard til the playoffs. Buddy of mines son plays for them so I’m hoping for a state repeat. Those 2 will not be close either just the best of the candy pile lol. It’s all good though, the boys can’t help the conf they are in and we heard rant after rant bout that last year how the low competition won’t be good for em’ blah blah blah and they STILL prevailed so that’s a fist bump to the team an fans for that.

Burke - the boys from Valdese look to improve this year. New Coach (Freedom alum) and new everything. Maybe another thread.
Say on facebook maybe Winthrop,,, not sure whom else,, surely there are others. I am guess offense may look the same but defense? Maybe a touch smaller, and quicker? lost nose guard, tackle, middle lb, and safety.. All those guys were of pretty good size. Pats how is freedom looking with new coach? Hopefully will get to make freedom shelby this year due to when that game is.
Hope to be there to see this one, my guess is both teams will be slinging it all over the field?
oh snap, my buddy Pats is back. Good to hear from ya. Yeah, the boys from Valdese SHOULD be good..and good every year considering most of the tallent East Burke in the old days had -speed and skill came mostly from that portion of the county. Not sure what new coach will have going for them but we'll soon find out. I still dont know the series is between Draughn and EB. Someone reading this let us know.
Anyway, yeah that is another thread and i wont exhaust talk on that. Ive seen threads concerning EB before or something like that and it end up being all about West Caldwell after the 2nd page. I can't see Draughn having any fight against Hibriten but it would be nice if they did. Hoping for a good fight for 2nd but Foard and Patton may be in the way of that.
A crew from Whiteville will be attending the Shelby Freedom matchup. Coach Little did some good things here and want to be there to support him. Looking forward to it. Last time the pack went to Shelby we almost, almost pulled off upset. Great place, great people, great athletes. That's another reason we will be attending. Wishing the best for Freedom and Luke this year
dont think we'll be hearing much from the Warturds this year or the next few for that matter......looks like they got another Anderson to coach the basketball team.

Yes he’s a lot better than Elon, and that’s not a knock on them but rather to his talent. When he leaves Shelby’s guys in the dust, he’s big time.
Elon is beautiful I’ve been around it once. They started getting better when they started puttin more recruit concentration on Burlington Cummings HS and close by area lol.
Yes and i would guess he could be a factor there, maybe get to play alot. Also would get a great education. Wish witherspoon the best whomever is chooses, have not heard a bad word about him, never seemed cocky.
I thought they put one up over there at the city limits? Actually heard it was really close to west caldwell high. Its the only school in the city, so lenoir can claim them and put up signs, i dont think the county will with the other schools out there. I havent seen any state championship south caldwell baseball signs out there.
We scrimmaged ddraughn tonight they didn’t score on offense but the defense scored on a fumble play. We scored once from offense. Their numbers are pretty low. It was freaking raining hard and super wet.
17 in a row with no end in sight. South Point canceled last year for same reason no sense in screwing up field for a scrimmage.
