No they wouldn’t. I got total respect for Tarboro but WRH has handled them last 3 times we’ve played them. Not saying they wouldn’t have a shot but not likely
John I’m not taking shots, I’m just calling as I see from an outsider’s perspective. East Duplin is down this season from last year and it took overtime to beat them in Teachey and they were w/o their top two players. The Wrh with Kanye and Javonte would’ve at least been competitive with Clinton. It’s ok to have a down year because all good teams will have them occasionally. Your Dogs will get a rematch against the Darkhorses and will have another chance to prove themselves.

You better peak when you return to Sampson County or it won’t much matter. Lucky for us we’re on the opposite side of the Darkhorses. I told John last week that there are some hsfb coaches in our area that think your Dogs will beat Clinton. Let me be clear that I think they are off their rocker. I couldn’t believe they told me that, and it was more than one coach from our conference.

Our defense is bad and I think all of us NE posters will agree. If you seriously doubt that HC won’t score 20 pts I think your going to be very surprised. Wrh should win but that average defense of this wrh team won’t be a match for Kaveon Rodgers. Also you better hope you can defend against the pass because they will expose you if you can’t. Wrh by 2 tds w/o them even peaking yet
My first question to those coaches would’ve been have you watched their film? WRH might could beat Clinton but it would take a near flawless game by them and one ugly game by Clinton. Just stating facts. I hope WRH gets their chance though. I really do.

What was the opposite, they haven’t watched film? I’m sure they’ve seen something that makes them think Wrh can win. I doubt it’s the coaching because you’ve still got to at least be close in talent that’s put on the field. Clinton is called the allstars for a reason.
I’ll say this, we playing for another week every Friday night!

BlackBulldog I am just stating my opinion. I still have your team winning because HC won’t stop your rb’s. All your guys have to do is limit dumb mistakes and don’t turn the ball over and you should win comfortably by 2 tds. The Bears will score at will against your defense but it won’t be enough unless you guys beat your own selves
Dogs better learn quickly to guard against the pass. Hertford County receivers are really good and have crazy hops.
The crazy thing is this team actually has played the pass pretty good this year from the first game till the last there was one or more picks we had against teams!! So there goes that theory!! Next
@O&B Attack , is there anything that I can say that makes you happy? Your defense is average at best and if it was good like y’all think then you wouldn’t have gotten run out the stadium in Clinton. I actually felt bad for you guys, it was just sad.
When I saw him last year at Whiteville, I could not believe how good he really was. The best QB I have seen in years since Ernest Tintien at Cummings. He is the total package. Big and very fast. Saw him throw one about 65 yards on a rope and runs like a deer. I would hate to see him again. Wallace better put to spies on him, because one can't handle him.
Our defense is better than earlier. Kevin is putting in different packages and looks pretty darn good. Other than Clinton we’re better than anyone in 2a East. And when we get Clinton, the dogs defense will be ready.
We don’t get to many players of his caliber in our conference. I hope he has the game of his life against Wrh but still loses. I want to see Wrh get their rematch with Clinton. If their defense is as good as they keep saying then we should see a very close game
You should get your chance to show the non believers. Your dogs are ranked right where you should be in the east.
You shouldn’t have seen him in Whiteville last year. We had them beat and a ref threw a cheap flag in the end zone for pass interference cause our receiver had a hand on his hip. They are taught to do that so they can feel the receiver and be able to look back for the ball. Only pass interference we had the whole game. Hertford knew they were beat and wouldn’t even walk out after winning and shake hands. No I have no respect for that program.
Strick I remember we held him on a 4th down run that led to our game winning FG. That was a hell of a stop for our D.
