LOLMy Prediction Grimsley 38 Hough 24... setting up the showdown in the Triad between East Forsyth(my other prediction) and Grimsley.
You think Grimsley is beating Hough by 14? Wow.My Prediction Grimsley 38 Hough 24... setting up the showdown in the Triad between East Forsyth(my other prediction) and Grimsley.
for years? please tell me you are being sarcastic lolDudley been ducking for years….correct me if I’m wrong doesnt there enrollment show they should be a higher classification?
For years I mean about 8 lolfor years? please tell me you are being sarcastic lol
Grimsley wasn’t even that good 8 years ago. I have personal relationships with a few guys on both staffs and I know for a fact this isn’t true either. For years I mean about 8 lol
From 2000 to 2016, Dudley is 14-3 against Grimsley. For years I mean about 8 lol
This ain’t 2000- 2016 though. Dudley knows they’d get the work the past few years, and especially this year. Big difference between the top of 3A and 4A. To get back on topic can anyone give insight into Hough and biggest strengths and weaknesses, I’ve got a good idea but want to hear it from people who have seen them play in personFrom 2000 to 2016, Dudley is 14-3 against Grimsley.
From 2016-2021, Grimsley hasn't wanted anything to do with Dudley.....
Of course the past 3 years, its easy to say it Dudley doesn't want smoke, but its been Grimsley who ducked out after 2016.... and just now is acting like the past 60 years never happened...
Especially this year? I’m not so sure about that one. Wasn’t Grimsley just tied 21-21 with Southeast a weeks ago before pulling away? Dudley beat them 49-0.This ain’t 2000- 2016 though. Played them twice. Throwing and getting them out the box would be your best opportunity. Definitely got to mix it up on the offensive side. If they figure out you can't stop the run, they will RPO you all the way down the field. O Line is really big, but not very mobile. Stunts on the DL and make them find the blocks. None of this will work if you don't have the Jimmy & Joe's. Northwestern (Rock Hill) had a really good game mixing it up against them. This ain’t 2000- 2016 though. To be fair Grimsley beat southeast 49-0 the first matchup and then scored 37 unanswered after the tied it up so I think that was just a case of playing twice..I see your point though. Yeah this hough team seems like a monster, and they seem determined to beat Grimsley this time. I think the winner of this game wins the State ChampionshipEspecially this year? I’m not so sure about that one. Wasn’t Grimsley just tied 21-21 with Southeast a weeks ago before pulling away? Dudley beat them 49-0.
Hough’s biggest strengths? It’s hard to choose just one. Their interior offensive line is very strong. All five starters are but the middle is where they have an advantage on Grimsley. Their speed and physicality on defense is also a strength. Very solid running game with three very good wideouts this year, I really like number 7. 7 is a do it all play maker and Evans number 8 is their big tall deep threat. I think the balance of their offense this year will get them over the hump.
Right now, I'd make Hough the favorite for the state title.Especially this year? I’m not so sure about that one. Wasn’t Grimsley just tied 21-21 with Southeast a weeks ago before pulling away? Dudley beat them 49-0.

They’re going to score some points then. I think Brandon is the key to the game. He’s been coasting all year but can go off at anytime, he hasn’t had to do much. If the G opens it up with the pass game it’s all going to fall on how he playsPlayed them twice. Throwing and getting them out the box would be your best opportunity. I don’t disagree they are on a missionRight now, I'd make Hough the favorite for the state title.
49-7 in the first match up but playing a team twice is difficult. To be fair Grimsley beat southeast 49-0 the first matchup and then scored 37 unanswered after the tied it up so I think that was just a case of playing twice..I see your point though. I don’t disagree with you at all, I really think Hough has been circling this game all year. They want to beat Grimsley and then finally win it all49-7 in the first match up but playing a team twice is difficult.
I’ve seen both Hough and Grimsley and I really believe Hough is better. The only way they lose is if they make mistakes, get out coached or just fall apart like they’ve been doing in the playoffs in previous years. Going by the eye test though Hough should win this game. I think Hough’s offensive line will dominate Grimsley’s defensive line, outside of Bryce Davis.
Wait... what!? I was only bringing it up because nwguilford guy was trying to say Dudley doesn't want smoke... when in fact it was Grimsley who ducked out of the smoke back in 2016. I was only backing up my argument with the historical facts/stats.The Page guy bringing up stats from 20-60 years ago sounds like me arguing with my Duke and UNC buddies about Kentucky basketball titles from 50 years ago. Who gives a crap about how “historically good” you’ve been when you stink now

If Paulina's Pre School Butterflys from Charlotte played any of the Greensboro schools, you'd say the Butterflys minus two.Right now, I'd make Hough the favorite for the state title.
Sounds about right. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they beat them soundly.Massey ratings predicts a 41-26 Hough win.

And probably cash in!If Paulina's Pre School Butterflys from Charlotte played any of the Greensboro schools, you'd say the Butterflys minus two.
I've seen the B-Flys play. Very physical!!If Paulina's Pre School Butterflys from Charlotte played any of the Greensboro schools, you'd say the Butterflys minus two.
Ohio St was also a 21 point favorite against MichiganSounds about right. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if they beat them soundly.
