You are just now figuring this out?
No pa!!!!!
obviously Richie Rich will beat this opponent...as they say. The rest of the schedule looks as easy as Dorothy walking along the haunted forest with Tin Man and the Lion....that s until they get to Pinecrest and then they get the jitters as they meet The Scotties

Oh....trust me I didnt leave out Butler half way through the haunted forest

If this was a boxing match, the ref would step in to save you. You are dazed and confused. You are getting pummeled and you have no defense.

I do not think there is as much dissension in the Richmond ranks as many want to believe. I really haven’t seen too many issues getting fans in the stands on Friday nights. I feel pretty confident that our fan base outnumbered every opponent that they played last year with exceptions of Scotland and Page, and there were a lot of Richmond fans at both of those.

I spent 8 years in retail management, and one thing that I can tell you is that you are going to hear from the disgruntled much more often than you are going to hear from the satisfied. The complainers are going to complain. The content are going to be silent. No difference here.

If you judge a fan base on the ones that complain, then nobody has a good support group in any sport at any level. Several posters here know that, because of my job, I am much more intertwined with the Scotland community these days. I think it is kind of funny how the Scotland fans and Raider Nation poke fun at one another and pretend to be so different, but in reality, they are so similar that sometimes I forget what county I’m in.

Very true
(The Librarian proofread this before I sent it)

Here's why my sources say things are quiet in Richmond Co.
The uppercrust / big-time boosters had some issues with last year's new coach. It was reported the new coach was also trying to get rid of all the old regime, except ones with political clout. Did hear about a possible return, which would shed a good light for the new coach & possibly help mend some fences. Still not 100% sure thats happened though. The consensus is that many hardcore fans aren't as supportive as once, thus not as much talk.
On the other hand, the vocal group that had issues with the previous coach found out Richmond may just be on a level behind Big-time programs right now & don't see improvement in sight, thus not as much chest - thumping as the past.
That's just what I've pieced together from my connections to RC. You're still gonna have some guys like Kount & Stud that will be here till the end, but my how times have changed!
I dont know what's worse, Richmond having the case of Sleep Apnea or making enemies with them Zika Virus creatures

In the mean time, does anyone have anything to add to the Football-Friday Movement?

Put your full Fairmount team in a game and richmond would destroy them!
Pappi calm down my cuzzie
7 on 7 doesnt mean a thang. it is all about evaluation and chemistry....it's like saying if youre gona be a good boy or a bad boy....it's about working on skills(passing or non-passing team), teaching tool guy, rebuilding method, finding your key players, it's like B-ball on grass, it's a mid-term report card of where your team may be.....dont mistake that with the phenomenal word "illusion"

at the end of the day pappi, it doesnt determined whether you is gona has a good season or not my cuzzie

and did you know 7 on 7 started on Army bases guy? around Baby Boomer era....

In summary: The main subject of this essay is that the 2A Tornadoes kilt the Richie Rich Magicians in a 7 on 7 event. Knowing that this does not mean a thang to Richie Rich, Fairmont, the NCHSAA, or the nation, it also doesnt mean a team will have a successful season, and gives a realistic look at the athletic power a team may have. At the end of the day all this means is that a 2A dominated a 4A in the 7 on 7 and not on a full blown game and that's it.........we won

Unless Rocky River has just fallen off the map completely, I do not see such a huge spread. I think Richmond will be fine this year, but they do have some new starters in key roles. I have a feeling it will take them a little time to jell. If it does wind up being something like 42-7, I think at least 2 TDs will be from defense or special teams and there will probably have to be several mistakes on the Rocky River side of things. I'm not saying Richmond isn't good enough for that kind of score, I'm just saying that week one is rarely a reflection of a team's "A" game. It will not hurt my feelings one bit if I am wrong, but I am a bit of a realist. Especially in those early 100 degree August games.

I agree RCK...I just dont see the Raiders putting up that many that early.....RR has a very good returning Qb and Rb , on astro turf ,some solid D players, in early August , and at RR, .....We have a LOT to work on......Our strong points right now look to be Def line, Qb, and running backs...Hopefully , we'll know more after the first live scrimmage....nuff said...

Whats wrong with Off line?

Who on here is for Rocky River? Any Fans?
If no Rocky River fans are on here then I volunteer to be their fan. I graduated from a high school with a similar name......Rocky Balboa High. We used to run onto the field to the chants...."Yo Adrienne" and after that I went to Rocky Marriage University. I received a degree in Brain Surgery and Auto Repair Technology. ANYWAY....Coach Jason Fowler has the Ravens running on all cylinders this year. Our impact players this year will be Narique Smith, Kailyn Wilson, Tyshaun Carter and Elijah Henry. We have 5 lineman in the 400lb bench 500lb squat club. We will be much more physical this year. Richmond better come to play or they will be leaving Mint Hill with an L!!!

Sportsnuts,
Richie Rich may win this, that and the other, but they wont beat Them Boyz during the November Rain

--------------------------------- BREAK ---------------------------------
About these Rocky River folks -
Richie Rich said they has this win, but I think they might have to swallow a couple syllables. My friend Bobby L. Jones III from Prospect, who attended the Rocky River scrimmage said they gave them boyz from South Meck a tad of a headache. Them Rocky River boyz are being put in the underrated spot by Richie Rich already, which in my rule book is rude.

Tough times are to come for Richie Rich the first game this season. This game will be the difference between saying Abracadabra and Hallelujah......which one has more faith.

--------------------------------- BREAK ---------------------------------
I mean I thin Richie Rich may win but not easy. RR will gain more than 2 touchdowns and Richie Rich may not get their wishful 30-some odd points...

Rocky River has 31 players dressing on varsity this season. They might hang for a while, but I'm not seeing how they are going to hang for 4 quarters.

Thats NOT good...The 4th qtr could be LONG.........nuff said....
....

31? what's going on why so few?
I have no idea why so low. That number came straight from Coach Fowler in an interview given on another website. I do know they weeded out some riff-raff last season and overhauled the team leadership structure. This happened during the middle of the season and caused them to miss the playoffs. Maybe the 31 is what was left over that bought into the new program direction? All speculation, of course.

Their starting 22 are supposed to be pretty impressive in size and athleticism, so what little shows up will be worth watching. For a little while, anyway. However, Richmond should own the second half, so look for the score to maybe be a little tight at halftime with Richmond pulling away late? Other than that, your guess as to what you'll see is as good as mine.

In Fact, Richie Rich and Rocky River game may be a little closer than some may thank. I wonder if RD28327 will drive from somewhere out in Carthage to come see such game

With his scramble style and read-option for touchdowns, Mr. Clark for Richi Rich is that dual threat type of guy. Them young warriors for Rockie will be the crucial part between winning and losing. It will be about the defense for Rocky because of the type of players they have and the concerns that were cleaned up.....it is very very very possible

its the 75th Ranked vs 9th

Will it be an upset or will the show roll as regularly scheduled?

By chance if you are going to watch this game folks please be aware that dinner will either be served at:

Jakes Good Eats
Hot Rods Cafe
or Bojangles

It is your choice....or you can order Frogs at Kabuto's

---------------------------- BREAK ------------------------------
Additionally, if you are curious about the stadium, here a great view

Bring earplugs or a big ring for that incredibly irritating announcer for the kids games....wont miss him!

Bennett led the rushing attack for the Raiders, carrying the ball 11 times for 131 yards. Zeigler completed 14 of his 23 passes for 193 yards and a touchdown. The Raiders’ defense recorded three sacks and one interception.
