Franklin vs Pisgah Gm6

Looks as if this game has been moved to Cherokee High Schools stadium at regular time this evening. Conditions will be much better as they have a turf field.

Hats off to Franklin well coached team had the better team tonight no excuses. I thought our kids looked flat from the start. D played well gave up one big play but other than that solid the int in the end zone by 31 taken back to the house difference in the game..not knocking the coaches but I thought we were pretty mellow in our play calling the sweep to 20 has been figured out everyone we play is now shooting there LBS almost every down need to change something up a bit 30 carries a game for him is a bit much especially when it's out of the same set...Keep your head up Bears got to get over this West will come to play next week! Tip of the hat to the panthers no excuses from this Bear and I hope nobody mentions the Refs about equal we just got beat

I thought Franklin just wanted it more.Congratulation to the Panthers ,their defense was great. For the Bears a lot of mistakes can't do that and beat a good team like Franklin. The next two weeks will decide whether we play after Brevard or not.
Never had been to Cherokee's new stadium.Really nice place to play and there was no rain. It's past time you Panthers get the artificial turf.

Congrats Franklin. Panthers wanted this one more. Pisgah came out flat just like at Asheville. Pisgah gave Franklin 14 points. I don't understand why the coaches waited till 2 minutes to go to the spread. Predictable play calling for the most part.
Bears better lick their wounds and get ready to play. The next two games are going to be to be tough.

Thought both teams were really equal & played lights out D for most of the game esp. in the second half. Obviously Kelton's 105 yd pick 6 (yes I know HS only credits 100) was a huge play & the difference in the game. If Pisgah scores from the 13 after the best drive of the game who knows where this one goes? Not a 55-54 last play win or loss like some games but a true fan enjoyed the teams trading punches. Hats off to both teams adjusting to a last minute venue change. A shout out to Cherokee for use of the stadium. Good luck to Pisgah the rest of the way. Nice that we both get to lick our wounds, watch film, & start our game prep for next week while all the other conf. teams are gearing up for conf. games on Monday.

Mistakes by the Bears kill them. Gave a short field to the Panthers right of the bat. Threw the pick 6. Only had 10 players on D when 31 scored on that long run. Franklin's #31only had 88 yards. 40 of that came on that one play. But hey, Franklin made the plays when they had to.

Play calling by both teams left me perplexed. Pisgah came out in the 4th quarter acting like they were tied up 0-0 instead of down two scores. Frankilin gets ball and calls passes that go incomplete or run plays to the boundary that go out of bounds when a running clock was their best friend.

Both teams looked rather lackluster to me. Soggy weather, change in stadium atmosphere, something wasn't right last night. I expected
an old school slobber knocker last minute victory by one or two points by either team. Lots of penalties, including some drive killers for Franklin.

Nobody better overlook West, jus' sayin'.

BlueVol, nobody better overlook anyone in the conference. Other than East maybe that is.
