Max Preps has this game starting at 7pm. But I thought playoff games started at 7:30. Anyone know for sure about start time.

Panthers go 3 & out, Greyhounds get a first down but then have to punt. Panthers drive 71 yards for the score.

Statesville goes on a 68 yard march to answer.

Panthers drive down to the 19 but turn it over on downs. Greyhounds march quickly down the field but a huge int. thwarts the score.

Panthers recover an onside kick to start the 2nd half. Franklin go 3 & out. Statesville is driving. Franklin is without their star RB/LB.

Tough loss tonight, to be completely without your best senior player (a beast who affects all three phases of the game severely) and still almost pull off the upset.

Watch out for the Panthers next year. Just about everybody on the stat line for Franklin is a junior or a sophomore and there's more coming up.

That game maybe go down as one of the best games in the State in 1st rd. Congratulations to Greyhounds and very good effort to Franklin. I have to hand it. Franklin played very well and played a tough ballgame. Safe trip to Franklin fans and players as they go back

One play that ended up being a big determining factor ( that I don’t understand ) is the ump made the place kicker and the holder go to the sideline on Statesvilles extra point attempt for apparently wearing pants too high above the knee ? That resulted in Statesville having to go for two (and was successful) and playing a big part in the final score. The fumble at the end was a killer of course but that one set of events was strange to me

I was wondering about the kicker and the holder. Never seen that happen before
