Bishop @ Prep was picked up by WFMY as their game(s) of the week.

Boys game should be interesting with Bishop finally at 100%. Major contrast in styles with Prep's speed against Bishop's size.

Prep girls can eliminate Bishop from the league race as well.

Cherokee-Hayesville is big in both boys and girls. Pretty much ends both conference races if Cherokee wins.

I would have to say that both Mens and Womens for the Cherokee Hayesville game is the game of the week in the 1A.

But that Northside/ East Carteret is also an intriguing one to watch in the area.

Both should be great games with some top athletes in North Carolina.

The ECHS Northside game was an intriguing matchup for about the first quarter , then went into full on 3 point assault.... LoL. . 106 to 69 and it wasn't even that close.

With the score tied at 27-27 at the 4:23 mark of the second quarter, East Carteret scored 55 point in the next 12 minutes and 23 seconds. The score at the the end of the 3rd, East 82 Northside 57.

Jacque Brown had 36 for the game. Ty Simmons 31, Sam Johnson 26

Both Albemarle teams won tonight.

Boys 91-45 (it was I believe 63-27 at half)
Girls 68-59

Tuesday and Wednesday will be a big test for albemarle girls as they play West Montgomery back to back. West Montgomery is blowing out teams and really has yet to be challenged. They are undefeated and it should be a great matchup come Tuesday.
