For the record, I thought the comment about "family" was out of line as well. When you're part of a football team, you should be like brothers, and brothers are family.
As for the game.....
Two or three bad snaps for Erwin. A fumbled handoff. An interception. All of these gave TC great field position and for the most part TC was able to capitalize on those mistakes. That being said, TC's coach made some horrible play calls in the 4th quarter. They were able to run the ball all night against Erwin, then when the had not one, but two chances to put the game away, they went to the air and it looked like the receivers were running the wrong routes. I've said it a million times. You never give a Bucky Tarr offense the ball with time left on the clock. Last night when Erwin got the ball back and was driving for a TD I told my wife, "watch this.....it'll be a fade to Austin in the back of the endzone." and sure enough that's exactly what happened.
